But why assume I didn't come to that conclusion after reading and taking it in? I have never been the type of person who doesn't read and analyze things. My final response to the report is OH PLEASE! Seriously... of course the study resulted in- eat organics! They paid for the study.

So, for those who have me friended on facebook I put up new pics :) So far the one thing thats not growing so far is carrots and watermelon. Not sure on the zucchini/cucs and lettuce and spinach. Neither carrots or watermelon I am giving up on though cause last year they were really late bloomers for us.

13 hills of zucchini???? You will be looking for soup kitchens, shelters, street corners to give it away.

sorry... the organic whatever it is- associate, org. Its been a few weeks and I am only half awake right this second so I am blanking.

I knew not everything would grow. Also last time we had 4 and while they grew and we got awesome blossoms we didn't get zucchini. I would rather be swimming in it than not have enough. We spend a fortune on zucchini.

My zucchini never took, and my green beans that my daughter started in school and I replanted (in a pot) are growing, but no beans. Should I replant them in the yard? I don't have a good garden spot at all.

no idea honestly. I would say they prob. need to be outside but I could be wrong.

The zucchinis I am praying are okay due to the nasty storm we had a few days ago. It might have taken out some of my corn too.

Broccoli is coming in fabulously! Lettuce too --- the neighbors are sharing and it's yummy :)

Now, regarding organic. Of course there are a few foods that you absolutely should try to go organic with. The following is a list of what you really should not eat if it isn't organic:

Celery

Peaches

Strawberries

Apples

Domestic blueberries

Nectarines

Sweet bell peppers

Spinach, kale and collard greens

Cherries

Potatoes

Imported grapes

Lettuce

However, there are other fruits and vegetables that aren't as bad, and if you must have fruit but can't afford organic then go with

Onions

Avocados

Sweet corn

Pineapples

Mango

Sweet peas

Asparagus

Kiwi fruit

Cabbage

Eggplant

Cantaloupe

Watermelon

Grapefruit

Sweet potatoes

Sweet onions

By the way, here is a great little video you can watch for up to date information regarding pesticides:

I am so jealous of y'all. We live in an apartment with a tiny balcony.

Not that I'd ever have time anyway, being a small business owner!
