I'm happy to have Shabbat company...especially if they like little kids! Need to have hechsher & allergy information a week ahead of time.

I'll be in touch. Tree nut allergiy (not airborne, she just can't eat it), I would have no idea about hechsherim. I am so happy it is no where near shmitta.

I am happy to host people for Shabbat - our place is currently too small but maybe if we have moved to a bigger place by next year.....
GL with the decision making!

We're a peanut, tree nut, and other free home...not a problem!

My own home is not nut free, so don't worry. She just has to know if something has nuts in it.
Anyway thanks and I'll be in touch IYH later on.

No, we're nut free. I'm peanut allergic and paranoid about cross-contamination issues with regular tree nuts, so it just doesn't come into the house.

UPDATE: we sent money to Michlala, so that's that. IYH she'll have a year of growth and inspiration. It is so scary I can't begin to tell you. I don't know how people send away their 13 year old boys.

Today's the day!! I am super nervous, of course she isn't. It's not like I didn't go myself, but I can't believe how hard it is. And my kids have been going for 2 months to sleepaway camp since they are 9 or 10, I should be used to it.

Thanks to all of you for your help, we do this all over again in 2 years, IYH.
