I am having a huge crowd for Friday night - my niece, her DH and 5 children, my nephew (her brother) and his wife, and their grandmother (not technically related to us, but we treat her and she treats us as family) plus DH and 2 sons (daughters are away at camp)

Friday night

Challah made last night because I didn't want to run the oven too much today it is 102
fish - Moroccan and gefilte and sushi brought by nephew because their cousin works in a store and gives them the leftovers
salads - strawberry mango (brought by nephew), cole slaw and caesar
fruit soup (brought by niece)
chicken
corned beef
potato kugel
apple crumble
grilled veggies (they are really baked)
fruit and ices for dessert

Shabbos lunch - only my family and nephew and his wife

challah
cantelope
fish (same as above)
salads - chick pea and caesar probably. maybe avocado
deli roll
potato kugel
brocolli kugel
chulent
parve ice cream (bought in costco!) for dessert - what is left from last week

chili (instead of cholent)

ROast chicken, with roast pots and sweet potatoes
Baby carrot tzimmes
Zucchini and onion
Green beans

Dessert - Fruit plus something tbd, depending on what the kids want to make - probably chocolate mousse/pudding thing.

Shabbos Lunch
Salads (green, mushroom, chick-pea)
Wheat pilaf
Cold leftover chicken
Cold meatloaf
Deli
Noodle salad (maybe, if I make it!)

Dessert - fruit and ice cream.

We had:
hot dogs and pasta dish Friday night
Saturday we had at shul typical shul lunch... cholent, salad, beet salad, etc Plus birthday cake
Then for dinner we had "upside down" day:
birthday cake first, then:
dinner: salad, hot dogs/burgers, pasta salad, broccoli/spinach quiche, pickles, roasted potatoes
then we spent the evening in the pool.!
