Dinner- challah chicken steak with mushrooms and onions multi colored baby potatoes cooked with a little marg, salt, garlic, and parsley asparagus lunch- washing kiddush at shul. full lunch for sheva brachos for those who can't have- challah homemade veg. sushi rolls, leftover chicken, pickles, tomato salad, and cookies Late Shabbos afternoon for the kids and friends who are by us all afternoon till shabbos is out- veg. sushi rolls cereal (their request) pickles tomato salad cherries grapes tofu with soy sauce (for my kids) challah with marg |

Challah rolls (we realllly hate bread here so buying or making a full challah is such a waste and gets tossed) chicken cutlets roasted potatoes corn |

So my asparagus decided that it was more interested in being splattered across my kitchen floor and oven door. AHHH! So I will just do some stir fry vegs quickly. Barbie- while my kids LOVE challah I make very small loaves. They have been trained not to fill up on the Challah and rather the protein. Edited by zuncompany, Aug 19 2011, 03:46 PM.

Simple this week because I'm run-down and feverish :( Fri night: Challah (bought) Pot roast, baked chicken, boiled pots, baby carrots, microwaved broccoli and cauliflower,wheat pilaf from a box, maybe roast zucchini and mushrooms, if I get to it. Oatmeal cake (dd made it!) Shabbos Lunch: Meatloaf (I hope!), cold chicken, potato salad, lefotver pilaf, coleslaw, other salad if the kids make. Oatmeal cake Shalosh Seudos: Deli on challah rolls, leftovers. |

Last shabbos before the kids come home! But my parents and another work friend are here Fri nite: homemade challah morrocan fish chick pea salad and caesar salad veal roast chicken potato kugel apple kugel (bought) broccoli kugel (bought) cole slaw string beans ice cream cake (bought) for dessert Lunch challah moroccan fish chulent cold cuts potato kugel yerushalmi kugel (bought) salads (whatever I decide tomorrow) watermelon for dessert |
