DH surprised me this morning by coming home from minyan via the supermarket. So, I'm cooking what he brought, and making do without the other things on my list (eg eggs and mayo!).

Fri Night:
Vegetable soup (made a huge pot so I hope I can freeze some for another week).

Brust Dekle pot roast with parsnips and carrots (made a second one plain to freeze for another week, because he bought me 2!)
Roast potatoes
Rice and Lentil pilaf
broccoli and cauliflower

Cupcakes dd made at school

Shabbos Lunch:

Gefilte fish
Dips
Salad

Cholent
Bourekas
Anything left over from Fri Night.

Cake from freezer
Grapes

looks like we are having potato salad, too.
I cut way too many potatoes to fit in the roasting dish.
Problem is, I have almost no mayo.
Any ideas for what I can do with boiled pots to be eaten cold?

After all that, dd asked for mashed potatoes, so we had mashed potatoes and roasted potatoes for Fri night, and the rice and lentils shabbos day.
And shabbos morning I found the new jar of mayo in the pantry!
