Sunday lunch was fishsticks; supper was omelets. Monday lunch was pizza pita; supper was cheese pancakes. Tuesday lunch is going to be French Toast (I think); supper is pumpkin kugel/muffins. Wednesday lunch...Wacky Mac? Supper...sandwiches. Thursday lunch...tuna salad or melts? Supper...falafel. Friday lunch...gefilte fish balls or fish patties? Supper...is a problem because the kids eat before Shabbat... Shabbat lunch...chicken; seudah shlishit, the usual. Sunday lunch is whatever there is in the fridge (for me AND the kids)...supper for DH will be the leftover chicken from Shabbat. We're flying Wednesday, so I don't want leftovers. Monday will almost certainly be take out something...probably pizza. |

We are being spoiled rotten by our kind friends sending meals, and the kids are loving it (I rarely do a weekday supper as fancy as what we are getting so it seems almost wrong to enjoy the food so much during the 9 days!). Sunday night, a friend sent tuna lasagna and there was more than one person who wanted the leftovers for lunch. DD2 and I couldn't eat that, but we are both allowed fleishigs, so we enjoyed shabbos leftovers. Last night, we were sent veg soup, fried fish, potatoes, green beans and tuna-pasta salad, with apple-blueberry crumble for dessert. We all enjoyed, and there was enough leftovers for the kids to have the pasta salad for lunch. I ate a piece of fried fish for breakfast, and there's one left for dh for lunch! We are loving eating so much fish! |

Last night we had talapia, rice, broccoli and cheese blintzes. The toddler had macaroni with pizza sauce and tomato - he crumpled up his broccoli. Tonight I was thinking of making french toast (would need to make bread first...), eggs with veges and leftover rice. Of course my youngest can't eat ANY of that. Well, he could have the bread, but that's hardly dinner. Soooo maybe egg-free pancakes? Or I could open a can of tuna. He'd like that. |

egg free french toast- with a stand or hand mixer put a few bananas. Start whipping and drizzle in maple syrup until the consistency is of an egg mixture you would dip in. cook like normal french toast. Very sweet. My kids go gagas over it. |
