here i am procrastinating at the computer... at least i have my menu... green salad gefilte leftover salmon from last night fake crab salad egg salad tomato cucumber pepper salad avocado dip homemade challa babaganoush chicken with baby potatoes no soup, will make pasta with meat sauce for kids to eat on fri night parve cholent want to try this jello-rich whip desert thing from http://culinarykosher.com/ Ingredients 1-1/2cups boiling water 1pkg. (0.6 oz.) Strawberry Flavor Sugar Jello mix Ice cubes 1cup cold water 1-1/2cups thawed Whipped Topping, divided 1. ADD boiling water to jello mix in large bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Add enough ice to cold water to measure 1-1/2 cups. Add to jello; stir until ice is completely melted. Remove 1-1/2 cups jello; set aside on counter. Refrigerate remaining jello 30 min. or until slightly thickened. 2. ADD 3/4 cup whip topping to chilled thickened jello; whisk until well blended. Pour into 8-inch square dish. Refrigerate 15 min. or until jello mixture is set but not firm. Carefully pour reserved jello over creamy jello layer in dish. 3. REFRIGERATE 3 hours or until firm. Cut into squares; top with remaining whip topping. we shall see how it will come out : ) |

Was supposed to go out Friday night but with the impending storm we are home. Our hostess sent us a challah and apple kugel to help out though. Friday night challah (friend donation) moroccan fish salads - whatever the girls make vegetable soup - donated by my mother chicken corned beef potato kugel apple kugel fruit lunch challah from freezer moroccan fish salads chulent deli roll buffalo wings fruit |

We are all sick. I feel Shabbos morning. UGH! by night soup and challah by day schnitzel pasta with tomatoes and basil deli meat avocado dip I was supposed to throw a few salads together as well but they didn't get made cause I was trying to break a fever. |
