Keyboard friends rules are as follows.

We ask that you do not offensive language on the forum.

Personal information about another member is not permitted on these boards without the express permission of that member

For security and privacy reasons we cannot allow duplicate nor multiple accounts.

Please do not post links to other websites/forums/blogs unless they are a direct link to an article/text which is relevant to a discussion.
If you wish to promote your own site please use the facility in your profile to do so.
The reason we have had to impose this rule is due to members joining just to spam.
If any unauthorised links are found they will be removed.

If you copy and paste any article or part of an article, news or any other text that is not your own please post the source and make sure that any text taken from that site is enclosed within quotes (using the quote function) for clarity.

We try to keep Keyboard friends as moderation free as we can but sometimes we do have to intervene. If your posting is deemed by other members to be unacceptable in some way - in other words if we have a complaint - you will be contacted by private message when you will be invited to re think the way you have phrased that comment. It seems reasonable to us that we wait for two hours to give you time to respond to your pm before we take any necessary action. If a thread appears to be going off topic and turning into a bickering session one of the moderation team will post a warning on the thread itself to try to bring the thread back.

While we encourage strong debate we will not tolerate personal abuse to any member. Posts of a racist or homophobic nature will not be allowed and will be removed without notice, as will posts with sexually explicit or illegal content.

If you have any concerns or problems with our moderation or decisions please do contact a mod or admin and we will do our best to help.

Thank you
Admin

What does "bad language" mean? It's a lower-middle class term for anything considered ungenteel by vicar's tea party types.

That's a very good point, Rosema. I've changed it to 'offensive' language. That, I take to mean words which are racist or homophobic in nature, that type of thing. And, netiquette dictates that swear words should contain a couple of asterisks.
