So, yet another banking scandal. I'm not going to pretend to understand the complexities of the banking system but, it seems to me, that few of us do and that's why 'they' feel they can get away with this kind of thing.

Dude?? Oh, wow. That about says it all, IMO.
I'll watch the repercussions of this with interest, but I don't anticipate much. A few hefty fines and maybe one or two less bottles of Bollinger for a few months.

No. I believe he's going to make it all worse. Mind you, having worked for an estate agent for a while, I can confidently say that someone's going to do rather well out of this. Other than the banks themselves, that is.
