Run you clever boy and remember...

Anyone play this game yet? I hear it's pretty good but I'mwonder if I should get it now or wait till the price comes down since I'm not too much of a fan of rpg's and platformers...

It's not a role-playing game.

Anyway, I heard that it's good at what it attempts to do, but lacks innovation.

I played it on xbox @ eb. I wasn't impressed. The control were akward and graphics were about as good as some older ps2 games. From the 20 or so mins I played, I decided I dint like it, and I usually enjoy platformers... I would say rent before you buy.

If anything you would probably enjoy the story and voice acting as I've heard that it's very funny (hopefully much better than the Jak games) and created by the man that was behind some of the great LucasArts adventures of yore (Monkey Island and Grim Fandango among them). What the graphics lack in polygons they certainly make up for in severe style with very clever levels, camera angles and character designs.

If you're not a fan of platformers I wouldn't recommend buying it at first (I mean, it essentially is a cut-and-dry platformer), but you really can't go wrong with renting it. It's got a lot of personality.
