So, what's your favorite GTA game, if any? Choose up to three games... I think vice was my favorite for the story and san-an was awesome for the sheer land-age of the game and the roaming fun but the story sucked. |

storyline? I don't know, I can't really relate to any of GTA's, so I've had to accept everything the games throw at me at face value to keep myself immersed. Besides, I just love all the new stuff that can be done in SA... and anyways, I explored SA for about 150hours, possibly 40h was spent in story missions. (Yes, over 120h for 100% and I didn't even go for unique jumps)

I recently got the Grand Theft Auto classics collection (GTA 1, 2, and London) for the PC for only 10 bucks. I liked GTA london for the nifty 60's flair and GTA 2 for its refined look and overall more fun gameplay. I just wish that they both ran just a little bit more smoothly on my computer... Most of the fully-3D games didn't really "do it" for me as far as gameplay went (The weapon controls always seemed terribly clunky to me), but San Andreas had SO much other stuff going for it that I was able to enjoy it thoroughly without playing many real "missions" (besides, it was so sunny!). However, I'd never actually buy it with that 50 dollar price tag... |

yeah, since they weren't required I never went for them....my game got glitched at 90% so I stopped and I haven't played it since...I kinda got annoyed that I couldn't get 100% so I'm taking a break from it for a while before I start a new save... |

I really wanted to like GTA--I love games where there's tons of stuff to do, and I can play and play for ages--but no matter how hard I tried, I just never got good at it. I'm pretty pants with driving games, in general. I ended up getting frustrated very early on, because I was unable to complete any of the missions to advance the story, and giving up entirely. Also, I'm not much for the gang violence theme (which is strange, since I was addicted to "The Sopranos" for ages). When it comes to games, I prefer something a little calmer, with pretty worlds to explore. I also prefer something slower-paced, based more on strategy than skill. |

I actually played San Andreas twice. But then I got liberty city stories, and abandoned the side missions for Zero. LCS needs to be on the poll |
