There are no roll-to-your-heart's-content style levels, but there are a few where you can take all the time you want to reach a certain size or number of items. Then there's the Snowman level.

I can't prove that there aren't, but I haven't gotten any... But it took me a while on kd to get them, so who knows |

Time attacks are sorta eternals, just don't get too big... But yes, it WOULD be nice to explore the stage 5 with no limits (size OR time) |

Stage 5 does do an eternal-level-style fadeout, instead of asking if you want to end the level or play again, but I haven't heard of anyone actually getting an eternal level for it. (I think if you could, somebody would've by now. I've seen some pretty impressive sizes posted.) |

Yea, its possible to almost get everything in large as possible 5. I've almost cleared the ocean, but I miss a lot of the big stuff, or send the king or queen flying and then miss them >_< that sucks |

One thing occurred to me just now about the stage 5 fade out: I think I've had Prince and Queen and King in same katamari, but what if one gets all the cousins, too... hmmm, all cousins and royals, sounds like a challenge

I always miss a bunch of smaller islands and clouds, and then I'm running around while the screen's fading to white, trying to make out where they are. I hate that stupid fadeout! I've gotten around 3630m several times, now, but I can't seem to get any higher. There's gotta be enough stuff lying around to take it to 3,700, or thereabouts, but I always run out of time and visibility. |

3630 is HUGE! I think it's nigh impossible to get any bigger if all the biggies are picked up. Little stuff might be too small to add even one 1cm to the behemoth. crunching.... You'd need a ball with a diameter of ~74m to add 1cm to a 3630m katamari, if lesser items are rounded to zero then you'll get no growth from them. BUT, since we are talking about a game, universal laws need not apply

Yeah--I think my record was something like 3632.5--I posted it on the scoreboard, anyway. But at that size, there are still some items, like clouds and larger islands, that SHOULD be significant enough to add a couple of metres. (I never stay at the top of any game scoreboard for long, so I KNOW this to be true--ha, ha!) I have no idea whether I've picked up all the cousins in one rollup, or not. I've never counted. I do run around all the areas where the giant cousins are lurking, though, so it's certainly possible. I'll see if I can do it some time, when I'm feeling industrious. |

wow, that's eerie -- i can't get above almost exactly 3630, either! I know its actually pretty close to the glass ceiling, but still, i'd love to break 3700. -- i get the same thing: fading to white, with me randomly snagging whatever clouds I can get. There's literally nothing left except scattered bits of islands. I've rolled it all up, which leads me to think that i'm not choosing the wisest path through the forest... i must be missing just a few key early bulk-ups.. i'm not so worried, but 3700m is just a goal i'd love to break! soon... - dave! |

The largest I've seen was 3635m34cm... I think it might be interesting to see 3635m34cm33mm. |

did that once for L1 L2 for more time on ARMAX. (works like this: it brings your timer to 6 minutes, doesn't give you more time.) |
