Survival Horror Games; they don't *all* suck

Any favorites in the survival horror genre?
I personally have been a RE fan, for the most part, since the first one. I'm currently struggling through RE4 because it's so freakin hard, but man, it's worth it.
I also like The Suffering, until it gave me nightmares :(
Resident Evil has been a long standing franchise (11 games so far, not including remakes and directors cuts), and it just gets better as the numbers go up.

Siren had me interested, but I hear it wasn't that great. And the same with Obscure, but I can't find it now.

Welcome Mat
I love the Silent Hill series. Great stories, great music. Only game I didn't like all too much was SH4.

I want to get Fatal Frame. Hard to find, though.

Fatal frame is a good game.

RE4 is easy IMO...

I really liked RE 1 & 2, but I haven't played 3 or 4.

I don't know if you'd consider Manhunt to be a survival game (or just a stealth game) but I love it. It reminds me of Saw. Hmm, I should start a thread about that...
