I realize the same thing could be accomplished by pausing after you pick up each object. But using each attempt's Top 3 Objects list in the rankings board, a new save file, and several plays-through the level, I think I can rank some of the highest-scoring objects in specific stages, like for example the hardest objects in Shimano House (where the Turtle stage takes place). I guarantee I will miss some objects while doing this. I don't know the exact score for any one object.

edit: Here come some multi-area stages! These new ones from Octopus onward will be even rougher than the earlier stages because I have to deal with items from multiple places, and with the fact that the King takes me different places each time.

Hardest objects I've found in Turtle stage:
(like I said I will miss some objects, these lists won't be perfect)
1. Paperweight 8cm9mm
2. Spoon 8cm2mm
3. Green pushpin 3cm3mm
4. Red pushpin 3cm3mm
5 or 6. Kakugyo (a shogi piece) 4cm6mm
5 or 6. Thumbtack 3cm3mm

(but objects like magnets and batteries which appear in larger quantities are clearly useful too)

Brightest objects I've found in Canary stage:
1. LED Light 22cm9mm
2. Camp Fire 1m29cm0mm
3. Light Bulb 20cm5mm
4. Pedestrian Signal 2m72cm0mm
5. Kerosene Stove 1m47cm0mm
6. Spotlight 69cm2mm
7. Japanese Lantern 45cm3mm

(In no particular order, less bright objects include Gold Axe, the Festival Lanterns, Lamp Ghost, Arcade Machine, Ramen Sign, and the Vending Machines. I can't believe it, but Twinkle's worth very few or no points. Maybe no cousins score any points for anything?)

Glammmest objects I've found in Gold Bug stage:
1. Miki Watarai 1m50cm0mm
2. Japanese Car 6m0cm0mm
3. Mama-San 1m62cm0mm
4. Topiary Turtle 1m36cm0mm
5. Topiary Rabbit 1m41cm0mm
6. Topiary Duck 1m6cm0mm
7 or 8. Safe 1m50cm0mm
7 or 8. Cash Register 52cm7mm

Loudest objects I've found in Cicada stage:
1. Racing Car (Blue) 4m49cm0mm
2. Bulldozer (in the 1.5m-10m section of the stage) 11m79cm0mm
3. Oil Factory 32m15cm0mm
4. Crane 17m70cm0mm
5. Scientific Factory 34m60cm0mm
6. Family Restaurant 20m63cm0mm

Coolest objects I've found in Beetle stage:
1. Police Car 5m53cm0mm
2. Tuna 14m41cm0mm
3. Rich Haul Flag #3 7m8cm0mm
4. Propeller Plane 20m22cm0mm
5. Helicopter 9m10cm0mm
6. Driller 12m76cm0mm

Softest objects I've found in Octopus stage:
(In my test runs I earned the most points when transported to Sakura Town.)
1. Snail - Model Shop
SAKURA TOWN: (drunk town)
1. Sponge
2. Egg Sandwich
3. Toilet Paper
4. Open Tissue Box
5. Chocolate Donut
OAK TOWN: (sunny town)
1. Dandelion Fluff
2. Toilet Paper
3. Beachball
MAPLE TOWN: (snowy town)
1. Toast
2. Sliced Bread
3. Cream Puff

Warmest objects I've found in Cat stage:
(In my test runs I earned the most points when transported to Banana City)
MAPLE TOWN:
1. Ozoni Soup
2. Hamburger (the one by the pool, not the one in the restaurant)
3. Camp Fire
4. Toaster
5. Firewood
BANANA CITY: (zoo)
1. Will-o'-The-Wisp
MELON CITY: (racetrack)
1. Kerosene Stove
2. Potbellied Stove
STRAWBERRY CITY: (golf course)
1. Microwave Oven? (may have been in Maple Town)

Gourmet-y-est objects I've found in Crab stage:
(In my test runs I earned about equal pts in Potato and Radish Land; less in Zucchini)
BANANA CITY (zoo):
1. Takoyaki Stand
2. Tuna
POTATO LAND (day into evening with Ban-Ban donut rookie)
1. Trawler
2. Mushroom (L)
3. John's Building
RADISH LAND (evening into night, "muggy")
1. Trawler
2. Candy Store
3. Manpuku Takeaway (whatever that is :bleh )
ZUCCHINI CITY (snowy, you start in the water at night)
1. Trawler
2. Candy Store
3. Chinese Restaurant (I think it's on the square hill with a waterfall)

Fastest objects I've found in Cheetah stage:
OAK TOWN: nothing I got there ever registered as one of the top three (but still the area is good for 120-140 thousand, so don't just rush through it :P )
1.5m-10m AREAS: In my test runs I got the most in Banana, then Melon, and by far the least in Strawberry.
BANANA CITY (zoo):
1. Monster Truck
2. Bear Ride
MELON CITY (racetrack):
1. Delivery Guy
2. Ice Skater (but of course the race cars are worthwhile too)
STRAWBERRY CITY (golf):
1. Monster Truck
2. Ship's Wheel
10m-70m AREAS: I got approx. equal points in all three.
RADISH LAND (evening to night, muggy):
1. Drag Racer
2. Sailboat
POTATO LAND (day to evening with donut Ban-Ban):
1 or 2. Monster Truck
1 or 2. Helicopter
3. Sailboat
ZUCCHINI LAND (snowy, start in water)
1. Firetruck (on the square hill with the waterfall next to :dipp )
2. Monster Truck (if there is one in that stage, I'm not sure)

For this I'm only looking at the animal's specific requests in their own stages, so next I'm going to look for glam things in Strawberry City (which will most certainly star Miki Watarai) and then loud things in the cicada stage's area, etc.

:heh I have no idea whether my lists will be helpful at all, for one thing they totally don't take into effect how many of an item there are, or how big you've got to be for an item.

Your information is still interesting and might be useful. I'd appreciate it if you could please list the size you have to be to roll up each item though. :)

Oh, that makes sense. I'll probably add in the size needed for each item some time tonight.

But to be honest I only plan to make the five lists I already made. For the rest of the stages it would get complicated, since you can be randomly warped to different areas in each one. So this is all the lists I will make, unless somebody really wants to see lists for more stage(s).

I wouldn't mind seeing more levels since i'm stuck on cat, cheetah, and whale. :D

okay...here's what i do...i play the levels in eternal and pause, write my score, pick something up, write score. subtract to find the difference and find the # of points for each item. i have only done this for polar bear, octopus, dolphin, whale, cheetah and a little in cat. i wrote a list for cheetah for the first part of the level, so i know what items to look for. using this method, i have boosted my cat score by ~200,000; my octopus score by ~100,000; my dolphin score by ~60,000; my whale score by~ 200,000; my polar bear score by~ 300,000 and my cheetah score by ~300,000.

here is a semi-list of the fast items and their approximate values in the first stage of cheetah...

water pistol- 465
baseball- 980
mosquito zapper- 580
math/kanji workbook- 1,400
blackboard eraser- 400
bug spray- 300
red oni mask- 150
fireworks (the small sticks)- 800
elephant watering can- 700
kiddie rake- 100
toad- 300
black rock- 500
rc controller- 500
toy dog- 400
diary- 200
yellow flower basket- 100
baseball bat- 500
new years card (smack the mailboxes!)- 500
blender- 2,000
bowling pin- 1,500
carp- 500
funny hammer- 300
fireworks (the fat, pink ones, just beyond the 75cm barrier on the bridge)- 500

i don't have the point values for the sneakers, slippers and getas found in the part of the level near to the 75 cm barrier. i also don't have the rc cars on there, but i surmise they will be a lot. the next stages to get a million+ for me were: banana city, the icy 10m-30m place. for some reason, i got a higher score in the icy 10m-30m place than radish land, even though radish land has the racecars. if you go into the icy 10m-30m place, don't forget to fall into the ice, as there are several bullet trains down there...

hope this helps...

I've made a really rough list for Cat; I may try to add to it tomorrow.

But if Yoda does a points-per-item list for Cat I bet it'll be more helpful than mine.

I skipped Peacock and Panda and listed Cheetah. But I'm thinking that I could make a much more useful guide by going through each stage listing some of the general areas you should and shouldn't go for big points (like how in one area the little track made out of tires is worth around 50,000 fast points). I might do this for Cheetah sometime soon.

So Cheetah might be the last stage I do the big-point-item list for ... again unless somebody wants me to do a specific stage.
