Worse voice actor

So what do you think is the worse voice actor? Can be from any cartoon or dub, doesn't matter.

By my opinion, it's either way Rebecca Honig as a Cream voice actor in Sonic X, or Amy Birnbaum as Charmy in Shadow the Hedgehog, both in English dub

Whoever did the voice of Precis in Star Ocean II, hands down. I had to start that game over from the beginning so I could have a party without her in it. (I had saved after getting her, but before hearing her GODAWFUL battle cries.)

A lot of the voices in FF10 were pretty terrible. Except for Auron. And Wakka and Rikku were okay.

Oh yeah, and whoever did Han Solo's voice in Rebel Strike needs to be slapped.

...Amy Birnbaum as Charmy in Shadow the Hedgehog...

Oh jeez, Shadow the Hedgehog?! Just about *all* the voices in that game were horrible, they should've kept the voices from SA2 instead of using the voices from Sonic X in my opinion. Horrible voices for a horribly cliched "tough-kiddy" game :rolleyes Although Charmy and Cream were pretty annoying, the worst voice to me was Vector the crocodile by far. Ugh, I'd rather hear a lady scratch her fingernails down a chalkboard than hear Vector's nasaly voice anyday :dead
As for the worst voices in cartoons/games overall, Baten Kaitos, an RPG for Gamecube, contains the most out of any game, in my opinion. It's been a little while, but one of the dudes (Lyude, I think) just sounds like he's reading from a script, pronouncing every single syllable in a monotone voice. During some of the most serious moments in that game, I literally burst out laughing because of the bad voice acting.

That's why I always stick to dubs. Sonic X is worlds better in Japanese. And so's Omochao. Set SA2 to the Japanese language setting and the little tutorialbot's voice will give you diabetes. :lol

They got new because old Eggman voice actor died 15.1.2005 and then they apparently decided to change whole cast... STUPID!

I think the Sonic series is in a special category all to itself for bad voice acting.

Oh friends...

Rikusa, I think the worst-ever can be found in the finnish dubs of Digimon :D

Those legendary dubs have "fan"pages too: Agapio dubs

At least compare the original title song with the finnish version

Yeah I know, I was thinking of mentioning, but I didn't wanted to doublepost (or edit, for some reason). Yeah, I wached series from episode three (my friend told me, and I forgot to watch 1st and 2nd), so, I know...

But, at some part of Season 1 they changed dubbing team to Werne, which is not as good as japanese, but at least they got some (bunch) of more emotion. Middle of season 2 they moved to subtitled Jap episodes.

And, the whole dubbing team is bad, their other dubbings are as bad. I think whole place
isn't shown in Finland television (Thank goddness :D )

Clip of some episode
(from YouTube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tcINhIjAxUA&search=Digimon%20Finnish

Oh, a long post. Nice!

Almost all anime dubs for america suck. The voices don't match the characters and they make the voices sound like this...

"hey", "guys" ! I, Really, like pokemon, because, it , rocks!"... I don't know if you all know what I am talking about, but that is the best I can explian it. :shrug

Oh, I know what you're talking about kfan1! Like they couldn't get a good read in one take so they just edited it together from what they could get, which wasn't much. Bad v.o. is the worst. I'm especially sensitive because I used to be an audio producer so crappy v.o. makes me insane. Sometimes the result is funny as hell, but usually it's just hellish. A lot of the game companies and production companies refuse to pay the money for good voices and decent recordings. They want to spend the least amount of money to make their product viable in a different market. A dub is a dub according to them and they figure it's not going to stop anybody from playing/watching if the voices are awful. In their defense though, one of the reasons the American dubs of Japanese anime are so bad is that they're produced in Japan where the talent pool of native English speakers who can also act is not a huge one. Believe me, doing v.o. is not as easy as it looks. They sort of have to take what they can get.
