Race Track - How to finish in 24 seconds

Said the man to the lady.

I can't beat my record of 27 seconds. :(
I follow the route of slobro in SDA, and I always finish in 27 seconds or more.
How to get the goal quickly?

My guess is that route probably can't be done in under 27 seconds. If you're hoping to achieve a faster time, you'll need to change it. The genius of slo_bro's route was the shortcut. Taking that same principle, you can shortcut across the bleachers (actually above them), immediately after the size up at the podiums. Make a hard left and cut up to where the pink binoculars are in a line. There's a video at my download site.

Actually, it's possible to get a :26 with slo_bro route, but probably impossible for a :24.
I got that time only after seeing matthew69's vid; otherwise, I think I'd not find any other better way to get this time =p

Since i got dial up, I am afraid I can't see matthew's videos.
If you can, matthew, try to upload zipping them or reducing quality of the video, so also users who have a slow band can study your route. ;)
Anyway, I'll try how you described. I hope it works.

way too silly :S

:) Even I was able to get a :25 using matthew69's route.

Very soon after you pick up the winner's podiums turn left, go just above the top of the bleachers, and go straight on through to the gap between buildings with some kind of bicycle, then turn left and get the ducts and then flower beds as usual.

Very cool . . . Sorry you can't see the vids, but it's nice that you were able to follow this route with just the description.

Tonight I tried this level another time and I just achieved 0:24:12. Maybe the record can be broken and we can get 23 seconds. :yes

No, I don't have a VCR or something like that to record.
But I must admit I followed that route matthew perfectly and I got this score. But I don't know exactly if it can be beat.

This route is copyrighted by the way, so I get 9% of all your glory and fame! :heh

Yeah :P

I don't know where to buy a VCR, do you know any online shops?
And how much does it cost?
I would like to buy it, yes, but I'm worried about uploading them into the net, my dial up is very slow. :dead

Run you clever boy and remember...

vcr's should be uber cheap now. i've uploaded video's to the net, sure it takes a long time on dial up(which i have) but you deal. You start the upload and then go back a katamari cake or something. :lol

You can buy VCRs wherever they sell LP records, those giant cell phones the size of a microwave, and the game Pong. Hehehe.

But actually, before you invest in outdated (but still widely used) equipment, you might browse the Submissions page of SDA. There's lots of information about encoding videos, and the different ways to do it. I went the VCR-route because I already had one and it's so easy. And because when I run my PS2 directly into my computer, I get a half-second lag time that makes gameplay unbearable. (Oh, and also because I would max out my hard drive with bad runs!)

Do you know any cheap and good VCRs?
Which one do you use?

I use a Sony . . . sorry, don't know the model. In the electronics stores here in the U.S they have tons of them for sale, and they start at about $25.00. Very cheap. But remember: You'll need a way to get the VHS analog recordings digitized and onto your computer.

It is more difficult than I thought it was. :)
Ok, I'll get some more info and maybe I'll buy all the things you said. Thanks.

P.S. Save the pandas - 218k :P
