It's hard to say, without knowing what he's into, or what price-range you're looking at. I'm really unimaginative, gift-wise, so I usually give people books pertaining to their interests, or, if I don't know what books they already have, gift certificates to Amazon or Barnes & Noble.

my dad isnt really a book person or alcohol person hes not really into anything specific,he likes his phones and computers but those things he always gets cheap and i dont know which stuff he wants, he loves jelly belly and toblerone but i get that for him all the time.
im looking to spend around £20
id like to get something out of the ordinary for example for my mum ive bought 3 picture frames and made 3 illustrations to go in them

i hate buying stuff for people that they are just gonna throw away or is no use
in fact i am just like him,he is incredibly bad at buying presents he just asks what i want now.

I don't know what stores you have over there, but I think good starting places for Dad-type presents are Home Depot and The Sharper Image. Last year I got my dad some slippers from Sharper Image and a set of these nature DVDs I think? This year I am getting him this electic wood carving type thingie from Home Depot that is in a kit. I dunno he showed it to me the other day and said he thought it was cool, so I'm just gonna go with that.

If your dad is into movies or TV shows try Amazon or something, cause DVDs are easy to wrap :lol

Hmm, well if you want to give him something creative and artistic like you are doing for your mother, what about designing a graphic and then having it put on a T shirt for him?

Well, that shirt is cool, I like it. I'll look around on google a lil for you in case you change your mind, I know there are sites out there that will make shirts for you from images you make, but I can't remember what they are right now. I'll post links if I find any though!

Think about what he might be needing right now:
New shirts?
New socks?
New tools?
Books, pens, suitcase?
