There's all sorts of free sprite creators. I'd have to dig them up if you want them. |

Yeah, that was the only one I know off the top of my head. This is pretty surprising but MS Paint has its uses too in some cases. Some sprite artists use it, but for more complex uses, I'd recommend other means. |

I've seen some insane stuff made in MS Paint before. Some people are extremely talented. |

Yeah, sprites aren't as complicated as they seem, you just have to use imagination and a grasp of computer art. I personally can't make sprites of people, but I haven't touched it in a long time though. It amazes me that a simple program like MS paint can be used to make such insanely good stuff. |

I am sorry to bring this up but, Graphics Gale's Sprites don't work on my website due to it's file formats. I can't find a free sprite creator that makes sprites with a JPEG or BMP file formats. I will be very grateful!

what file formats are they? you might be able to open them in mspaint and just re-save them as a different type. |

When I do that it looses it's animation, I may have to buy a sprite creator.

The only sprite creator I have is Graphics Gale which Artic Phoenix gave me a link to, and it saves GAL files which doesn't work on the internet. I heard that you can make animation usseing paint, does anybody know how to do that? |

I don't know how to do it in paint but there is a free "photoshop" type program called Gimp that has an animation pack in it that will let you animate stuff. It's legal freeware. http://www.gimp.org/ |
