My favorite graphic filter is Classic, by far. I like the others too, but I almost always switch to Classic. My favorite mode is also Classic, but I am also very glad Classic isn't the only mode. I play the modes besides Eternal pretty evenly. I really, really like Katamari Forever. It got me back into playing katamari; I very much like seeing all these levels that I hadn't played for a few years. Most of the music remakes are quite cool, though I wish there were a remake of Katamari on the Rocks more similar to the original. Some things Katamari Forever needs: More KotW-goers playing it! The biggest thing Katamari Forever lacks is people like FoominFan, ThumbsOfSteel, Silent Thunder, waxc3 and others playing it. But I hear FoominFan may soon join the legion of KF players ![]() I want some of the KD constellation stages! I don't miss the time attack stages, but I very much wish KF recorded your fastest meteor times for each level. I like having a new minigame plus two old ones, but graaaah, the two coolest katamari minigames in my opinion didn't make it into KF I'd like to see Katamari Damacy's roll up the countries minigame, and Me and My Katamari's side-scrolling 8-bit game.I wish KF had one of the medium-sized levels from Beautiful Katamari; either Cloud 9 Forest or Seadome. |

I have always enjoyed eternal mode. sometimes i just want to roll with no restrictions. and i chose classic. new and drive are ok but classic is still awesome. jumping has spoiled me, lol. i chose the classic filter only. the filters just don't add anything for me at all. |

Honestly, I like KF and Eternal. As for the filters, I honestly don't care, but I suppose I like New best, since that actually looks the most like the old games on my television apparently. Classic seems just too... shiny, somehow. Now, if you excuse me... *runs away from angry mob* |

There's nothing wrong with being different ![]() New is matthew69's favorite filter too, if I read one of his video descriptions right. edit: I forgot to mention another thing I really like about Katamari Forever -- short load times and almost no loading delays during levels. In that way, this game seems programmed almost as well as Oblivion!

the short level load times are awesome but the in-level lag is horrific. |

Wow, I know this was discussed once before. I pretty much never notice lag time. Well things do sometimes get funky just for a second or two before the 300 meter size-up, and before going into space, but other than that the game plays great on my PS3. (I have the new slim one with the 120GB hard drive, of which I'm using about 2GB )I'm really sorry to hear the game lags so much, that would suck. That, along with going through the whole Platinum trophy process twice, might be part of why you don't like KF that much

it lags for me even when i'm not even near a size up point. it slows down for a good 15 seconds at times. it's really bad. i dunno what it is. |

I think it might be because of all the stuff, especially the things that move, in the levels. At least a third of the time I'm playing the Constellations level, I'm experiencing lag, and there is a LOT of moving stuff in there. Strangely, it seems as if when I first roll towards the gate to exit the first part of the level, it is always lagging. |

yeah but i don't remember it lagging like this in BK since those levels that lag the worst are the BK levels. maybe they just didn't bother to optimize them for the ps3 whereas the KD and WLK levels came from the ps2... |

I've never had any issues with lag, and I've got one of the older ones with backwards compatibility. I think my favorite mode might just be Eternal, if only because it's a great way to unwind. No worrying about time or size limits, just pick a level and start rolling. As for the filters, I actually just use the 'New' filter all the time. I don't even have an HD television, so it's not like experimenting with the filters really makes things pop... if I ever get around to replacing it )Which, knowing me, will probably be whenever it gives up the ghost entirely), I'll probably play around with filters more then. |

Umm, vix, if you can, do you want to get rid of my "Does KF lag much for you" poll from this thread? That was just a idea to add that poll, I think; the other two polls are much more fun.I do like how even the voting is between the modes and between the filters

Never played it, but Drive mode really looks like a lot of fun! It'd be more challenging too. And Comic is my favorite filter, I love how colorful and cartoony it makes everything look, just like a comic!

My favourite mode: classic (but drive is a lot of fun and makes a change) filter: classic. I really dislike the others, especially the wood effect one
