If you haven't played all these games and you don't want their biggest stages spoiled, please read no further, or at least exercise extreme caution ![]() I really like all four of these In fact, these four stages are some of my favorite things in katamari games. But I'll rate them from least favorite to favorite: 4. Schloss Kosmos Spoiler: click to toggle 3. Make The Moon - Schloss is too easy, this is too hard Unlike the three others, in order to grow quickly at all you need a route. But that's alright, and this is an extremely wonderful stage The fact that Make The Moon is third out of four speaks to the fact that this is a list of incredibly high-quality stages in my eyes. Schloss is a 9.0, Moon a 9.8, Royal Monument a 10 and ALAP5 a 10.2. Royal Monument stage - This is the only stage besides BK's Chateau Notre Desir where you get to play all the way from 5 centimeters to huge. (I remember that the original reason I liked KD's MAS8 so much was that it was a stage with a big final diameter where you start tiny as opposed to 50cm.) Add to that the three different versions of each size level you can randomly be sent to, and a really fun world-level portion at the end, and on paper this stage is even better than WLK's ALAP5 in my opinion ... 1. As Large As Possible 5 - ... But for sheer fun nothing in the Cosmos beats this stage. Remember when you had reached the goal diameter, grown bigger than you ever had in KD, and then a HUGE King much bigger than your katamari walked by you? My early attempts at the stage I know I never passed 2000m, and I was in awe of the idea that it might actually be possible to grow big enough to roll up the King. More recently this level is still extremely fun for me, rolling my extremely pleasurable route that is far slower than the top routes but that I developed myself as my first foray into katamari speed play, trying to follow all the wacky rules to try to max out diameter (to try to get 3637m rather than 3634m).If you want to write in a different huge-diameter stage like Chateau or Dynaville or Roll up the Countries or Roll up the Sun or even Clouds, feel free

Least fav. to fav. (1-4) 1. Royal monument- seemingly takes way too long, never had a chance to play it, probably never will unless MMK is released for ds. 2. ALAP 5- first attempt- 189m. with 3 minutes left. I know, I should try again, but still, some level had to take this spot. 3. Schloss k. - The sheer awesomeness, the sheer beauty of a 10,000+ km. katamari, it's just awesome. 4. MTM - You can never beat the classics. Besides, this stage got me hooked on KD. |

The Wake Up the King level is just so fun to play. ALAP 5/MAS 11 is a close second. |
