So, the games are getting bigger and they load faster, and you can do more things, and they have included the "(Robo) King's Heart"... So maybe in the future, they will make abilities for each of the cousins (and the Prince and other characters, of course)? Even if they don't, I think it'll be fun to make up some powers for them. Say, each of the characters gets a bar/meter. As you pick up items, it fills up. The bar is bigger/smaller for each character. I'll just point out some of mine, feel free to make up your own, even if you make up a power for a character someone's already said. Johnson/Nutsuo/Odeko (whoever you like most) Medium bar, slowly goes down, use anytime Squishes your Katamari into an oval. I'd think this would be useful for alleys that have too much stuff for you to pick up in one go. Lucha Big power bar, goes down slightly fast, use anytime Makes pickupable (is that a word?) objects that are too large for you move away when you touch them. I think this would be useful if there is a large wall in your way, but lots of tiny items behind it! Also useful if you are trying to get past things like cars or animals. Marny/Shy (whoever you think is better, I think Shy is better at floating, but he wouldn't be able to roll with his face down...) Short bar, slightly slowly goes down, use anytime Can float over water or other liquids. Only useful in some stages, but it could work. Still not very useful unless there is one specific water stage, though. XD Nai-Nai 3-large-sections bar, consumes one section at a time, must have at least one bar to use Temporarily puts all pickupable objects in a box, blue for small enough to pick up, red for too big. Boxes do not increase size. Very useful if you don't know the stage's objects. Opeo Large bar, slowly goes down, use anytime Prevents items falling off your Katamari Dunno about this one. Do you guys like it? I think it may be nice for beginners. Pu Large bar, use all in one go, must be full to use Temporarily shrinks all pickupable items (temporary even while picked up). I would love this. Perfect timing = epicness Ryu 2-small-sections bar, use one section per use, must have at least 1 section to use Totally ninja-like fall on top of the largest item you can pick up in the level. That MAY be useful, but teleporting like that may mess up your route. Ryu (again! if you don't like the other one) Medium bar, use it all up in one go, must be full (Not) pausing the clock, you will have a bird's-eye view of the area, and you can jump to the area you click on. You guys can decide if it should turn off the clock or not. I think it may be useful if you want to go to an area far away that has a lot of items. Dangle 5-small-sections bar, one one section per use, must have at least 1 section and be on the ground to use Go into a "Prince View"-like state, and you can launch yourself wherever you click on the map. I think this is just silly. XD Signolo Small bar, quickly goes down, use anytime Turns Signolo's face to his/her(?) red face, and stops all objects (and even the clock if you want it to be overpowered) while using it. Epic if it can stop the clock for a second and a half, not so much if it only stops objects. ![]() Slip/Velvet Medium bar, slightly large bar, use anytime Lets you float slightly above the level of ground/air you are on. You move slowly, but it is good for getting across gaps, and especially if you want to halt yourself if you are sent flying. Sherman 3-large-sections bar, use one up per use (stackable), use anytime on the ground Sherman quickly rolls some snow around his Katamari, causing it to be temporarily bigger. Does not last when the level ends. Useful for when you want to be just a bit bigger. Kind of like Pu's power. THAT was a lot. How 'bout you guys?

Very nice ideas! This is something I'm hoping to see implemented in the future too. I especially like Lucha's power. It's both useful and fits his personality. I have 1 idea for / .. it's not really that useful but here it isParty!! medium bar, goes down slightly slowly A disco ball appears and disco music plays. All near living objects (humans, animals etc.) stop what they're doing and starts dancing! Like the grooveatron in Ratchet & Clank Future.

I like your ideas but I would never want the cousins to have powers. Only because then to be able to do well, you would end up limited to a cousin that you may not like. |

Perhaps a cousin mode of some sort? (like kf, classic, eternal, drive, etc) Then yeah, then I wouldn't mind at all. But if it was something forced, I don't think it would be all that well received. Perhaps something like the descriptions of the cousins equates to their powers. Nik automatically sucks up all food from the level.

Yeah! Just like the Drive mode and stuff. I try to not make them too powerful... I was thinking that you could test out which character is best for each level. ![]() Nik sucking up all the food may be a bit too good on some levels, right? |

Though that could be an advantage on some levels and a disadvantage on others forcing you to mix up your cousin choices. So if say, mag sucks up all electronics, she would be a rather crappy choice for a food level. Would bring about some bit of strategy to find the right cousin for every level. |

Mag + Mechanical Colony!! That would be fun Ah! I've got it! Each cousin goes to a category (Mag-Electronics, Nik-Food) And you get a 1.25x diameter bonus for objects you pick up for that type!!

I'd prefer something cosmetic that doesn't effect gameplay. turning every utensil into forks or something. makes every human character wear screen-reflecting clothes sets things on fire (which cannot be picked up) and all living characters flail around. turns all food into appropriately sized sweets Turns everyone into fashionably challenged people All screens in the game are playing Pac-Man instead of your TV screen. All people are now NinjasStuff like that. |

changing the item type affects it a lot. if someone plays ryu, they have an advantage over someone that plays as foomin. |

It wouldn't change the size of the object, just the skin. Imagine child Ninjas. In KF MAS 10, a ninja flying around on a balloon spinning and holding a box of some sort (I think that's in there) |

It would only change the skin. For example, an elephant disguised as a fork would still add as much size to your katamari as an undisguised elephant would. |

Either you didn't get it or I didn't XD With Foomin, utensils are forks, like spoons and chopsticks, ect, turn into variously sized forks (because of Foomin's forked head) With Ryu, since he's a Ninja, all the people would be skinned over to look like ninjas, but retain original size, so a child would just look like a midget ninja. Can-Can would make people look like they're on fire, but the fire would not be pick-upable. The people would also move in the exact same way they normally do (Stationary, walking, swaying back and forth) except their arms would be waving around like they would be if you'd rolled them up in the Katamari. |

Im with the majority here. I like the idea but it would just be too confusing for me. Katamari, being originated by simpleness and ease with just really on having to use the analog sticks 90% of the time, probably doesnt need any stats for certain cousins. .......But perhaps Katamari trading cards??? That would be epic
