For things that don't require their own topic.
Since I have no conceivable way to play the co-op levels in Katamari Forever the way they were intended to be played, I had an idea.

I have two controllers, so I set them down in front of me, placed my palms on the control sticks, and rolled that way.

If you think about it, it's a bit more like rolling a Katamari in real life than using a single controller.

Anybody else here ever done something like this in the Katamari games?

yes! I use my middle and pointer fingers of both hands on each of the controls. It is so much easier than having 2 people try to help eachother! In fact, I think thats how many users here have done it.

most of the time i'll rubberband the second controller with one stick straight up and the other slightly off to the side. it's a little tricky because it's a little hard to make turns in on direction while the other is easier.

I have to tab down my controllers as they'll slide around around, but yes, I've done it. Quite a challenge. :)
I just use the palm of my hands, as it's easier to control where to go IMO, though it's probably easier another way with someone with bigger/smaller hands than me...
I was able to roll up everything in WLK's ALAP5. :P

Single co-op is easier than with another person IMO. >.>

Yeah, the new Katamari game would be epic if it had co-op mode, but...

I am too poor to get a Xbox360, a PS3, or even a Wii! :(
Being poor sucks... I am stuck with the PS2 and Gamecube, I guess...
At least I got WLK... :crybaby

bk isn't bad, it's just missing something. the abuse of the xbox doesn't help either, lol. and neither did the dlc shenanigans.

BK did fantastic so far as new cousins and levels but when it comes to actual gameplay and story line..... You'd think you were playing an early KF beta test :lol

The eye drops off the shelf.

Beautiful Katamari was good in that it was a new installment of levels. The "Planet" and "Space" levels got a size meter, which is pretty nice. I didn't like the DLC, because, well, for the quality of the levels we should have had them for free.

Still, I enjoy picking it up and playing a couple levels, setting a few new records, it's an installment to the series. Not the best, say, but I liked it enough to play it.

BK doesn't really have the same 'katamari' feel. There's something about the level design, I just can't put my finger on what.

the locations were compulsively reused...i think that's what bugged me about the levels.

And that , Carrot, Is why i am suggesting WLK is the best..... It has different maps instead of the same locations every time. It introduces a WHOLE lot of new cousins from KD which was a real kicker back in its time. It also has a fine intro which is 10x better than KF and BKs in my opinion :yes

I know it's the best, but when I beat the game so much that my father is shaking His fist at me, how can I have more fun with it? :lol
