Hi everyone! Remember me?
It's NamcoSpaz. I got a bunch of leaderboard scores on KF and BK back in the day? It's been so many years since I've had contact with Katamari's awesome fan community...or even played the games for that matter. I definitely don't want to say - nor do I believe - that I "grew out of it" or anything like that. But interests do change, you know? In fact, I kind of got out of video games in general. I never really played that many to begin with, just Katamari and Pac-man were my childhood. Plus, being in college now, there isn't much time to replay stages a million times like I used to. And it's not like I "moved on to more mature things." I got into comedic screenwriting, which for me consists of mostly dick jokes and making fun of celebrities.
Looking back on it, I have a lot of fond memories of these games and their impact on me. My world record on KF's Make the Moon Drive (which I think I still have??) was the first time I achieved a life goal. I felt so proud of what I'd accomplished at this silly game. And yeah, when you think about it - I guess it is pretty cool.
I was just reminiscing in my past, watching old videos, and I remembered this forum. I'm sure I had an account at some point, but I've long forgotten my password and I have no clue what I would have made it five years ago. But I just thought I'd say hi. What are you all up to these days??

--NamcoSpaz (Now there's a name I've not heard in a long time....)

Hello :D I sure remember you.

I haven't been playing much katamari either, but while I live I don't think I'll ever give up video games, heh.

Oh friends...

Hey everybody, haven't been here for quite a while...

these days I'm mostly playing GTA Online on PC, having old Katamari songs on Self Radio while driving and wishing there was a Katamari mod for rolling everything in Los Santos up, from bags of trash to the mountains :D
