Run you clever boy and remember...

E3 is going to ramp up in the coming days. I didn't even know the conferences were starting today. I'm out of the gaming loop a bit.

Schedule as composed by Kotaku, link: https://kotaku.com/the-e3-2018-press-conference-schedule-1825468920

EA - Saturday, June 9, 11am Pacific Time
From sports to shooters to... more sports, EA will kick us off with an opening presentation from EA Play, the publisher’s event in Los Angeles. (EA stopped officially participating in E3 a few years ago.) We can expect to see more of Battlefield V, an in-depth look at Bioware’s Anthem, and hopefully some other cool surprises.

Microsoft - Sunday, June 10, 1pm Pacific Time
It looks like Team Xbox has moved permanently from its previous Monday morning slot to Sunday afternoon, which helps spread out the fun. Microsoft has a lot of pressure to compete with Sony’s fantastic lineup of exclusives, so this will be one to watch. New Gears of War is a safe bet, but what else does Xbox have to show? And what t-shirts will Phil Spencer be wearing?

Bethesda - Sunday, June 10, 6:30pm Pacific Time
The publisher of Fallout and Doom won’t make people stay up all night this time, as it has thankfully moved this year’s press conference back to a more reasonable hour. (Last year’s started at 9pm PT, or midnight Eastern time.) Bethesda has already announced Rage 2 and Fallout 76, so we’ll definitely see both of those. It’s also safe to expect new Prey stuff and some other surprises.

Square Enix - Monday, June 11, 10am Pacific Time
This one is a pleasant surprise, as Square Enix has not held an E3 conference since 2015, when it announced Nier: Automata. The Japanese publisher has a lot to talk about, including Kingdom Hearts III, Dragon Quest XI, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. We still haven’t heard much about the Final Fantasy VII remake or the upcoming Avengers game. Plus, doesn’t it feel like time for Final Fantasy XVI?

Ubisoft - Monday, June 11, 1pm Pacific Time
The folks behind Assassin’s Creed and Watch Dogs always put on a good show, stuffing their presser with big announcements and “one more thing”-style surprises. We know we’ll see The Division 2, Skull and Bones, and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey in Ancient Greece, but what other blades do Ubisoft have hidden up their sleeves? And how’s Beyond Good and Evil 2 doing these days?

Sony - Monday, June 11, 6pm Pacific Time
Don’t expect any big first-party surprises from PlayStation this time around, as Sony has already promised that its presser will revolve mostly around four games: Death Stranding, Spider-Man, Ghost of Tsushima, and The Last of Us: Part II. The publisher, usually known for its shocking E3 reveals, does say that there will be some third-party announcements and indies at the show. Maybe we’ll see that From Software game that was teased at the Game Awards last year?

Nintendo - Tuesday, June 12, 9am Pacific Time
As always, Nintendo is eschewing the traditional press conference in favor of a Nintendo Direct on Tuesday morning. The highlight will be Smash Bros., along with other games that the publisher plans to bring to Switch throughout 2018 and beyond. Will we see big third-party ports like Diablo III? A fresh glimpse of Metroid Prime 4? Or maybe this is the year we actually get Mother 3.

Ea had their presser today...

Click the link for more detailed info...but here's a few headline snippets:

Battlefield V gets more destructible environments and a battle royale mode.

Respawn’s Star Wars game is called Jedi: Fallen Order.

Battlefront II is taking on the Clone Wars.

Unravel Two brings Yarny back for a co-op adventure, out today.

Sea of Solitude is all about loneliness and depression.

Command & Conquer is returning as a mobile game.

We learned more about BioWare’s Anthem, coming in February. https://kotaku.com/everything-we-know-about-biowares-anthem-1826699016

FIFA 19 out in September.
Fallout Shelter is apparently coming to ps4: https://www.playstationtrophies.org/game/fallout-shelter/trophies/
KH3 Release date, January 29, 2019. http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2018/06/10/e3-2018-kingdom-hearts-iii-release-date-january-2019/ Guess it won't make it out this year like promised but it avoids the really stacked holiday season.

Nice to have a date and a nice trailer on Kingdom Hearts! I'm glad they pushed it back a little bit, it seems they're taking some of the feedback from the event on board.

So stoked to see new Halo but sad that it was just a wee teaser :(

Also the Gears of War Pop Vinyl game was a hilarious way to bring up the series before announcing Gears 5.
