Post #24, I agree... I didn't like Monster because it yet another portrayal of a 'damaged' lesbian. And to a lesser extent, The Hours with Nicole Kidman. Theron and Kidman both won Oscars for playing 'damaged' lesbians.
Unfortunately, I can’t blame "Monster" per se because it’s based on the true story. But I didn’t like the flood of docus and specials. A very welcome opportunity to cultivate old stereotypes

I'm hardly able to name any of the out ladies in sport biz mentioning bad experiences with men. Meckel, Will and Folkerts also seem un-damaged.

Yeah, I also never heard anything about bad experiences with men from the three above mentioned German ladies.

What Foster said was basically that most public people have marriages of professional convenience (gay and straight), and that she doesn't form relationships on that basis (which is why other people are so whorey about their romantic relationships and Foster won't discuss hers). She also said the contract (marriage) isn't important to her but the quality and length of the relationship.

People have gone from arguing that Foster coming out wouldn't hurt her career to arguing that her coming out would help her career. I actually believe Foster that she'd rather fail as an actress than succeed as a celebrity.

The Queen can't afford higher class strippers? That girl looks like she was picked up from one of those trashy, rundown, trucker-frequented strip clubs off the highway.

The Queen was basically outed very recently on a certain VLOG, on a certain lesbian website. The person didn't actually say "yes, for sure", but pretty much said "she's not straight". The person who said this also seemed a bit tipsy from wine and was probably spilling TMI.

She should come out already. Looks like she takes little "careful" steps.

Although I competently agree that the Queen is gay gay gay, a Vlog is the last place I would look for confirmation. Queen Latifah is what?, B-List and the Vlog people are none-list. Doubt they would actually have any real insider info.

Or my prejudice against that sorry site is coming through.

I can imagine what this "sorry site" is...

Am I right it's AfterEllen? They have Vlogs.

She's A-list. I don't agree with that ^^.

No, not Afterellen. I think the person who said it is connected enough to know what she's talking about, even if she's not an "A-lister".

A-List is referring to having the power to push a movie thru. Like if a movie is being prep, does the Queen signing on make the studio say "oh fuck yeah! Lets make this, we'll get our money back for sure!"

Does the Queen have that? I don't know. She's kinda borderline.
