Newbie Posts: 9 Group: Members Member #9 Joined: June 9, 2008	Name of plot: "The Fall of the House of North" Wanted number of role-players: as many as wish to partake. Information about plot: A very minor plot; more of something to mention in passing. The North Manor resides on edge of town, between the Upper Level and Middle Level. Far enough to be tucked aside and forgotten, but close enough to be an eyesore and a source of endless rumors and ghost stories. Seven Years ago, Something Horrible occured in North Manor. The Lord and Lady of the Manor vanished, along with an attending relative. The only known survivor, Josephine "Joey" North, was said to have gone mad from the witnessing it, and now lives alone, a recluse on the edge of town. The Father was Lord Nicholas North of West Espera - A man once respected but later cricitized for his extreme eccentricities, and obsession with his work. He was rumored to have dappled in the Void Magicks before his disappearance, donning a cloak to hide his disfigured appearance. The Mother, Lady Katarina "Kitty" Galden-North - A well respected woman known in many high-end social circles. Embarrassed by her husband's obsessions but defending of him to the end. She grew ill before the event, an undisclosed illness puported to be a rare hereditary illness. Lord North was rumored to have dappled in the Dark Arts in an attempt to cheat fate and save her. The Great Aunt, Lady Abigail Galden of Amaranth - A wizened old woman from another land, the only living relative of Lady North, called upon in her illness. Speculation abounds around her; many fantasize her to be a kind of withch, and suspect it was her who first put the idea of Void use into Nicholas North's head. The Survivor - Josephine Rebecca North - A recluse who has taken up her father's work, with a determination parallel to his own obsession. Seen occasionally Stalking about her Manor, alone but talking to someone. A ghostly figure (Hannelore) is sometimes reported to be seen following her. Children whisper stories of the North Family, and the tales have grown and changed with time and hearsay. Feel free to spread about the rumors and scandalous legends! --In Addition: The house is seen by many of the upper crust as an eyesore, and the family tradgedy seen as an embarrassment. Some want to 'save' her, others want to lock her up, or worse, 'put her out of her misery'. Still others don't care, but want to see the house torn down and the lot put to better use, something more attractive for the neighborhood. Others see her in a positive light; interested in her story, or her parent's story (she is the only known living witness of the event, and has never told anyone what she has seen.) Still others are interested in her work: Many of her creations and 'technoloagical marvels/abominations' sit out in the front lawn and attract gawkers. So... feel free to Drop by the House of North, for whatever reason. :)
