Radeah stopped as she heard steps. The whispers got louder in her head. She covered her ears as if that had helped. Her head ache was strangling her mind and she couldn't think straight. She didn't run though she should have. No, she walked. "Silence, silence." She muttered. When the spirit was anxious it really did make her headache worse than ever. The walls of the buildings felt endless, reaching high into the sky. She looked at them like they had been the most fascinating thing on earth. She forgot all about the man following her and carefully leaned against a building wall. She pressed her ear against it as if to listen. "Hello," she whispered with a smile, " how many secrets do you know?" Needless to say her sanity was flaky. Too much strain and pressure. She pushed herself away from the wall and strolled forward. Things were slightly spinning in her eyes so she remained close to the wall. The spirit was ordering her to go forward, so she did. There was no actual thought process from her part on walking. "Mousie, mousie followed a cat, a cat, a cat. This cat had a mind gone bad, gone bad, gone bad." She silently sang an odd limerick that sounded like a kids song. |
