Radeah shook her head. Not a psychopath? No, he was just pathetic and looking for someone to pick on his liver like vultures did to corpses in Ethreas if they had been left hanging on the great wall. Usually these people were the bodies of enemy soldiers. She shook her head and did a series of hand signs that in Ethreas were signs of offense for they cast curses of gods upon their target. She cursed the man with every god's name she knew.

She then closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "May the vultures pick out his cursed eyes." Radeah muttered, searching for a voice inside her head. Mertenah was silent. At least the man was leaving. She, however, couldn't leave yet. She had to wait for a command. Usually she used the silent moments to go where ever she wanted but now she felt it was better to wait. Something was different.
