Arcadian had an awkward time getting down the stairs. It seemed he was taking the movements of a sidewinder, gradually lumping his tail, tip first, down each step, like moving backwards as he was facing the front.

"Yes, that seems perfectly fair. Alright, so it's my turn, right? What is your most valued treasure?" his attention was on her hands as she danced them down the hall here and there.

He didn't fool around very much when getting to know a person. Immediately asking for her weakness, if she were to respond honestly, he would be able to take whatever it was she held dearest and turn it on her. It was a test, somewhat. He was still genuinely curious what her answer would be, but for her to open up and share something like that, just after meeting him, would allow him to know more about her than the simple answer to a question. She couldn't say he was a cheater - he did only ask one thing. As cunning as any serpent, though, he managed to figure out a way to get more from her.

He was a little more excited about it all than he should have been. After all, it was his first day in a new world. There was so much knowledge here and he greedily wanted it all, as fast as possible.

His eyes became fixed on her's, unmoving, with an uncommonly serious expression.
