He chugged at the whiskey bottle, breathing out sharply when he was down. His head was beginning to throb a bit, but the bottle was only a little less than half done. He had waited too long; The first long sip had already entered his system, and the second one only served to fog up his mind even more. He capped the bottle, and put it aside. "In any case..." He paused for a moment, and blinked five or six times. Then shaking his head, he continued speaking. "In any case, what's on your mind, love?"
