"My dear fellow," the man chuckling whole heartedly, " I do not lie. It is not in my nature to lie. Plainly speaking its ungentlemanly to lie and do so good sir is to incur the displeasure of age old ancient customs. Plainly speaking my dear chap, it is only speaking the truth so honest and pure that one makes other believe that it is indeed a lie. When I said that Idid not have enough schooling, it was indeed true, for I was taken into the company of my relatives and there beyond the corners of halls and buildings, I learned the greatest things in life. A certain panache in handling things, as politicians would sometimes say. But all things aside it does not make a merry camp side story to talk of such trifles."

The Duke mused at the Apprahead's observation and though he wished to say his thoughts on the matter, he deemed it necessary to gather facts first before he let out his own say on the subject. From his face, illuminated by a fire a small smile appeared and disappeared as fast as quicksilver. He bit into the clay pipe and puffed a few more smoke rings that steadily went to and fro before vanishing into the misty night air. Maximillian listened as he blew more smoke rings as the Apprahead made a few philosophical interjections before segueing into a topic of Gods, religion and conflict.

"Hmmmmm," came the sound from the man's throat as he indulged himself to a few more herbs. He tossed a few more faggots at the fire and poked it several times and turned to the Apprahead, "In all honesty, I respect the gods, yet in all my travels to several continents and countless realms, I always find that this issue, putting it in the words of my uncle Gamallion Francesi, leave the praying to the priest and leave the fighting to the warriors but this you must remember, life is being under a chicken coop."
