Administrator Posts: 538 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: April 13, 2008	Dwarves The following is a brief expansion of what the (Name of race) are like and a brief bit of history on them: Name: Dwarves Life Span: Dwarves live long lives, but do not have the ageless appearance of elves. They age slowly, compared to humans, but they do age over several decades. Many dwarves go grey rather early on, before their hundredth year, while others keep their natural hair colour until far later in life. Dwarves live between 150 to 200 years. Average Height: Dwarves heights range between 3 foot and 4 foot. Most Dwarves are generally about 3 to 4 feet tall. Average Build: Dwarves are a short people, compared to humans and elves. Dwarves are stout in build, and often wider than the average human, despite their short stature. They often have a bit of fat on them, but also have a thick musculature. Dwarven women are very indulgent with wide hips, large breasts, and they are usually a little plump. Overall Appearance: A distinguishing trait of dwarves are their beards. Not only do dwarven men proudly wear beards, but women do as well! Female beards are just as full as the male's, but their hair is often a little finer and more silken. To other races, this can cause quite an unsettling confusion about a dwarf's gender. Some dwarves women shave their facial hair but if a male dwarf is found to have his bread shaven, it is a sign of great grief or depression. The coloration of dwarves is nearly as varied as humans. Most dwarves are of fair skin, which tans rather easily. Dwarven hair comes in shades of black, brown, red, and blond. Their eye colour includes most of the same colours as humans; blue, green, violet, brown, gold, and red. Hazel eyes do not occur in dwarves, though. Overall Personality: Dwarven personalities vary. Most are defensive, proud creatures, who take great pride in their crafts and labours. Most dwarfs look upon themselves as better than other races. A part from these few features, dwarves vary greatly from one another. Strengths: The dwarves nation are known to be some of the lands greats smiths and horsemen. The Dwarven race have been known to be able to simply mutter to a terrified steed and calm the best into submission and their ridding is nothing less that out standing. Weaknesses: Due to their short stature and stocky build, Dwarves are poor runners or jumpers. Their small body also make them poor archers with bows, while they can do some damage with a fire arm or old fashioned cross bow. Natural School Of Magic: Dwarves are powerful fire mages. Their skill in fire magic also make them epic smiths.
