Indigo stared at the empty glass in front of her. She listened to the people ramble, yell and laugh around her. A man nudged her laughing like the rest of the gang. "Hey Indi! Your glass is empty!" He uttered loudly. "Easy Jacko I've got it!" Ingido replied, pushing him back with a smile. "One more." She said to the bartender who immediately filled her glass up with the sweet elixir that made her world spin slightly after few too many. She had come to the bar with some of her fellow soldiers. Most of them were men, only one woman and she had already passed out. Now she had to listen to guy talk the whole time. They were mostly talking about a weapon smith who had developed a new excellent type of sword. Her interest dropped after the first half an hour she listened to them go on and on about it.

Indi was bored, and drunk. Which meant she was up for fun but there was nothing to do. There was a man passed out on the stool next to her. "I don't like dwarfs." She slurred out and kicked the man off the seat. No reaction. He was out cold. Indi laughed at the pathetic carcass on the floor and snorted as she gulped down more of her drink. Boredom again. At least she was losed up because of all the drinking. Usually she was destined to suffer boredom since she was too tensed to do anything else. Now there was a window of an opportunity.

Logan staggered from the privy. His shoulders slumped, his hands dug deep in his pockets and a grin formed on his lips as he strolled across the room, weaving though the locals as he went.

True enough, he had already had one to many drinks himself, though he was currently on duty, yet little seemed to have to be done today. With a hiccup he narrowly missed tumbling over a drunken dwarf now sprawled out on the damp floor, his head hanging to one side and a stream of dribble and ale in his matted beard. Could have been a she from all he knew. Bloody dwarfs and their bearded women.

With a grunt he stepped over the fallen dwarf, pushing the remainder of his body from the stool and took his place at the bar. His sluggish eyes wondered off to one side for a moment, glancing at his female company. A grinned formed on his lips and a chuckle arose from his lungs.

“Bloody dwarfs huh!” he chuckled with a smile as he ordered himself another drink, letting his heavy arms slapped down onto the wet bar lazily as he swayed on his stool.

"Go sleep with a dwarf and you dunno which you had! Man or a woman!" Indigo slurred at the man with a grin, playing with her glass of intoxicating beverage. She didn't know what it was but it was purple and had a quite kick in it. So it was good enough for her to gulp down. There always had to be a kick in it. Without such it was pointless to even drink since these beverages didn't taste the best either. "They feel the same and look the same." She finished off her sentence loaded with drunken wisdom.

"Do I hear Indi sharing her wisdom?" One of her soldier buddies yelped laughing. "Arrrh shut up or I will punch you in the throat!" Indigo growled, dismissing him. She kicked the passed out dwarf. "Should I light his ass on fire and wake him up?" She grinned with a drunken, playful shine in her eyes. She wobbled slightly on her stool. She wasn't too far from passing out herself. Rarely did she get this drunk. Usually she only drunk enough to be relaxed and slightly more cheerful but now she was twice that. Indigo didn't even generally drink that often. It was rare to see her like this. The tensed up soldier was completely gone. Now there was a rowdy woman with a will to laugh and see someone get beaten up just for fun. Her head felt heavy and she wobbled again. Oh yes, not too far from passing out, no.

"Go sleep with a dwarf and you dunno which you had! Man or a woman!"

Logan spat part of his drink out in laughter at her comment and was quick to rub a partly numb hand over his chin to wipe the brew from his whiskers. He lean back in a relaxed motion for a moment, but began to loose his balances and quickly threw his hands forwards and grasped the bar for safety.

"They feel the same and look the same."

“Can’t say I’ve had the same trouble myself, rather not be with a woman who could kiss my arse standing up!”, Logan chuckled to himself as he drank from his glass, finishing off his pint and ordering another.

Do I hear Indi sharing her wisdom?", "Arrrh shut up or I will punch you in the throat!"

“Touchy for a soldier aren’t we”, Logan stirred on his stool, grasping the bar tightly with one hand as he tried to keep his balance and not go crashing to the floor in the next few seconds.

"Should I light his ass on fire and wake him up?"

“Looking at the stat of him, guess he wouldn’t notice, but I don’t advice it”, he slurred as he grasped his new drink and took another mouth full. “So what you doing in the city then?”, Logan asked with a cheeky looking grin formed on his lips.

“So what you doing in the city then?”

Indigo looked at her glass. "Well...so far... I'm drinking." She uttered sighing. Drinking was the perfect way to relax and get the army out of a soldier's head. So why not head for a drink the first thing? It was not like her empty house would have someone waiting for her. And she would have the time to greet her mother later. She wasn't expecting her either. In fact no one she knew, knew that she was back yet. Only ones who knew were at the bar getting wasted too. "Vacationnn." She continued her reply with a grin.

Indigo started laughing and buried her face into her hands that she had folded on the counter. She felt like passing out and it made her chuckle again. "Oh man I think I'm gonna go out in matter of seconds..." She said raising her face from the counter. Indi knew she'd better head home soon unless she wanted to actually pass out on the street or rely on her soldier buddies to carry her home. She hopped off the stool and wobbled. She had to grab the counter with both hands to keep herself from falling. "woOow."

"Well...so far... I'm drinking."

Logan grunted a small burst of laughter. “I can see that”, he grinned heartily to himself as he slurped his drink, letting half of it run down his chin on onto his uniform.

"Vacationnn.”, “Oh man I think I'm gonna go out in matter of seconds...", "woOow."

“Who ho ho, where you going love? Need a hand?”, Logan asked with a smile as he slipped off of his stool and knocked heavily into a passer by. He stumbled to his feet and lightly wobbled on the spot with a grin on his face, while the man he’d knocked into gritted his teeth and muttered curses at the drunken guard.

He staggered forward and stopped for a moment by the soldier, then recalled what he was doing again. “Come on, lets walk you home…”, Logan offered his arm while trying to remain awake.

"They are gonna pay." Indigo pointed at her soldier buddies and the bartender nodded. They were so concentrated on drinking and laughing that they didn't pick up that she said they'd pay. No objections were received from their direction. Indigo then winked at the guy who offered her support. "Walking me home eh?" She leaned against him to keep herself from falling. "Here I thought chivalry was dead!" She grinned widely. "I do insist you know that I could well stand up all by myself and walk all the way down the street." She slurred, tapping his chest with her forefinger.

As they thumbled out she took a lungful of fresh air. "Wow I forgot how the air smells when there's no scent of..." Her voice trailed off. Without the scent of blood and burnt flesh. That's how she would have continued it. But instead she smirked. "What a sweet man you are for walking me home!"

"They are gonna pay“, "Walking me home eh?", "Here I thought chivalry was dead!"

“Right, right”, Logan woke as her body knocked against his. With a quick whip of his face he took in a snort of air and recomposed himself, thrushing his chest out, drawing back his shoulders, standing straight, well that was what he was hoping for, but it was more of a long winded hunch with a grin slapped on it.

"I do insist you know that I could well stand up all by myself and walk all the way down the street."

“I bet you could, but I couldn’t let a lass walk home unattended. What sort of man would I be if I did that”, he slurred each word while keeping his cheeky grin on his lips as he swayed on the spot.

“Wow I forgot how the air smells when there's no scent of...", "What a sweet man you are for walking me home!"

“Don’t be thinking your gunna get luckily with me tonight my sweet, this mans married to his work”, and my work is my wife, he thought to himself gruffly for a moment. Dam woman was always getting herself in a pickle and he was always their to drag her back out.

“You know, I admire you, I always wanted to be a soldier, a hero of some kinds, guess things don’t happen like we want them to….”, he muttered to himself for a moment then recalled what they were doing. “Make way, lady coming though!”, Logan chuckled with a smile as he led the lass with a stagger toward the door.

“Don’t be thinking your gunna get luckily with me tonight my sweet, this mans married to his work”,

"I'm not that drunk!" Indigo laughed pushing back her hair that was roaming free instead of being on a tidy ponytail like it usually was.

“You know, I admire you, I always wanted to be a soldier, a hero of some kinds, guess things don’t happen like we want them to….”

Indi glanced at him, her smiled faded away. "Right. A hero. The other side of it is that you have to kill to be a hero. Kill a lot of things. Kill fathers and mothers and even children. Do that for years and soon you won't feel a thing doing it. Then you dunno which is worse, not being able to feel or being able to feel. Yet again....being a soldier is what I was born to do. I'm a born butcher." She smirked again.

Indigo saw her front door and let go of the man walking her. She leaned against her familiar home door, feeling glad about finally getting to sleep in her own bed. "Thanks for the ride man." She saluted him and opened the door.

“Bah, seems better than my family business”, he grunted with a smile as they stumbled along the road, toward his lovely companies home. She steered the way from time to time, but it seemed more like they were just fumbling around in the street.

"Thanks for the ride man."

“No worries lovely, if your want to have another drink again, ask a guard for Logan Longley and their point you my way”, he slurred for a moment as he tilted over for a moment, almost falling to the ground as he gave a bow to his company. “Back to duty for me”, he giggled as he drew his blade and lightly wobbled if about at a safe distances in a silly manner. He grunted a chuckle of laughter and began to stagger off, letting his blade knick the pavement as he went.
