Okay pretty simple game. If you get board why not say what your doing lol. You can comment on what other people are doing in your post but you must post your own actions as well in each post lol

At the moment I'm going course work and writting this up:

(designing a cookery book)

Butter bean & bacon soup

Preparation time 15 minutes
Cooking time 24 minutes

Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil,
175 smoked bacon (chopped),
25 g butter
1 onion (chopped),
2 garlic cloves (roughly chopped
2 celery sticks, chopped
1 leek (roughly chopped
750ml hot ham or vegetable stock
400g can butter beans (drained and rinsed),
2 large springs of parsley
3 spring of thyme
2 bay leaves
100ml double cream
Salt and pepper
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large pan and fry the bacon until it is crisp and golden. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside to drain on kitchen paper.

Melt the butter and remaining soil in the pan over a medium hear and cook the onion, garlic, celery and leek, stirring frequently, for about 10 minutes or until soft and golden.

Add the stock and butter beans with the herbs and season to taste. Bring to the boil, then turn the heat down and simmer gently for about 10 minutes before removing from the heat. Remove the herbs and blend until smooth.

Stir in the cream, season to taste and serve in large bowls, scattered with crispy bacon.
