Work In Progress Player Details Name: Vorend Age: 16 Contact Details:Xfire, GTalk, Msn How you found us: Through Spoo's suggestion Character General Details Name: Yngve Halvard Age: 123 Gender: Male Race: Dwarf Profession: Repairman Spell Caster: No Steamskilled: Yes Appearance Details Overall Appearance Description: Yngve is a quite much the normal dwarf, standing at 3' 10" however he's a little skinny, due to a lack of money. His face is wizened more than others of his age, dominated by a rather large nose and of course the beginnings of his beard. His skin is leathery and rough from years of work. His eyes are a ruddy golden color. He has long, wavy, gray hair, which he keeps held back, or under his flat cap. Yngve's beard is longer than most, reaching down to his hips, and is somewhat an object of pride. He keeps three braids in his beard, above its general mass of hair. They are held together by whatever piece of cloth he can find. His body is covered in runic tattoos, mostly place names from his past. In addition he has the formula for black powder and conversion rates tattooed onto his left wrist and arm. He carries a few scars from previous scraps with shady characters, most notably, a scar passing diagonally under his left ear, creating a bald streak in its place. He wears spectacles when reading or working on small objects. His clothing much like others of mechanics; a dirty shirt, ragged pants, and sturdy boots. He also, oftentimes, wears an overcoat, regardless of the temperature. Personal Details Sexuality: Heterosexual. He lost interest in dwarf women after a failed marriage. He is attracted to elven women, but has mostly lost interest in relationships at his age. Marital Status: Divorced Education: Yngve was never formally educated. He learned to read, write, and mostly everything else he knows from helping his father at the forge. As a young lad, he endlessly studied schematics of the great ships of the world, learning about geometry in the process. His mother also helped by teaching him some basic practical skills, such as cooking, bartering, the basics for life. He furthered his education by saving enough money to attend one of the greater dwarven mechanical schools. His skills with mechanics, much to his enjoyment, did not spread far outside of the dwarven community. Academic weaknesses: Yngve grew up in a household of simple dwarves, and like most of his family he grew up disliking magic and therefore taking absolutely no interest in it. His family firmly believed you could get anything done easier with mechanics and handiwork than with magic. Main goal (dream) at this point in time: Ygnve once owned a powerful airship, which was taken from him. when his crew members staged a coup against him, so his ultimate goal is to build an even bigger and better airship. His current ship is a small ship made from random parts, while unattractive, it is very functional. Overall Personality Description: Yngve has had a hard life, so he's rather cold towards others and even towards himself. Like most dwarves he is very proud, especially of his heritage. He's rather hotheaded and will often pick fights with others. Often being the aggressor in fights, little intimidates or phases him. He despises the rich, feeling they have no understanding of the poor, and would go completely unaware if the poor disappeared, until their supplies ran out. Background Details History/Background: Magic Stats and Steamskills To start with you have 10 points (1 point is worth 1 level). Steamskills Know your bolts: Level 10: Steam Legend |
