Character General Details Name: Kite Exeter Age:36 Gender:Male Race: Human Profession:Bounty Hunter/Mercenary Spell Caster: Somewhat. Long distance fighting isn't my preference. Steamskilled:Steamwut? Appearance Details Overall Appearance Description: Well, I'm 6 feet tall on the dot. I way about 180 pounds, mostly muscle ( that one's for you, ladies. ). Due to the nature of my work, I have a fairly athletic build. I have longish hair, as I never bother to waste money on something so lame as a haircut, and my clothes are kinda worn out too. Black shirt, Khaki pants, and a gray vest. Brown dress shoes ( I'm classy like that) round out my dress. Oh, did I forget my sweet bandanna? Anyways, my skin is a bit tan from working in the sun. My eyes are a deep brown, and my hair is an auburn color. I have a lot of small scars from combat. Cause hey, chicks dig scars, right? Oh yeah, almost forgot my sword. It was my dad's. It's a broadsword, all black with a red outline on the blade. Looks wicked, no wonder he wasn't allowed to use it in service for the Church...Oh, I have this habit of glaring at people when I'm annoyed with them, which is most of the time really. And I tend to scratch my head when I'm uncomfortable with a situation. And that's all you need to know, right? I can go now? Personal Details Sexuality: Straight. No matter what they might tell you. Marital Status: Single. I'm a swinger baby. Education:Bah, school is for pansies. I grew up in the streets. Sure, my parents taught me how to read. And mind you, I LOVE reading. If I wasn't homeless, I would probably have a decent book collection now. But, I digress. My father taught me to use the sword. He was a soldier, ya know. But my mom...Yeah, she was a spellcaster. Had a whole mess of books on the subject. Worked for the church as a water mage. But, me being me, took up fire magic, although I picked up some of her skills as well. When I was around 16, I got REALLY into void magic. It's application to make my fire spells more effective had me studying it night and day for a few years. And now...Well, just don't expect me to not blind you and then blaze you. Academic weaknesses: Fail? I don't fail! ...Ok fine, I suck at math. Does that make you happy? I can count, just don't expect too much long division. Main goal (dream) at this point in time: My dream is to see how the world ends. Either that, or finally learn enough fire magic to drop a freakin' Meteor on the church. I should make my own spell for that, actually...I've got the smarts to do it, I swear! Overall Personality Description: I'm a pretty cool guy, I would say. I save people, you know? Sure, they pay me afterwards...But somebody has to pay for the booze, right? Alright, so I can be a little depressed at times; It's tough not having anybody but yourself, ya know? The booze helps, but sometimes...Anyways, I won't even mentionhow sarcastic and brutally honest I can be. But I'm really a nice guy, ya know? Even if I get REAL annoyed with people real easy. But hey, my sarcasm is a gift from the gods. So, accept it. Background Details History/Background:Oh, so you wanna know about me, eh? I was born in a little town near the church. Seeing as my mom was a mage in their employ, and my father was a soldier in the Pope's personal guard, it kinda made sense for us. I had a fairly decent life, although I spent most of my youth in delinquency. Why, you may ask? Well, I hated the Church. It was my parent's life, ya know? Didn't leave much time for me, except for when i wanted to learn some magic or practice my swordplay. All I wanted was for them to pay some attention. But no, it was always work, work, work. So...I left home at the age of 15, to start making a name for myself. Which I did, kind of. I've more or less never failed to catch a bounty I was after, or to complete a job as a mercenary. Made me quite infamous, actually, seeing as I'll work for anyone who's got the cash(And, I tend to tell the church they smell like monkey dung). So, in-between jobs, I'm a vagrant and a drunk. Isn't life great? Magic Stats and Steamskills Magic Stats School of Air magic: N/A School of Fire magic:3 School of Water magic:3 School of Earth magic:N/A School of Void magic:4 Steamskills Know your bolts:N/A Extra His vision is slowly worsening from casting the Void spell Blind ( Wait, it is? What the hell, why wasn't I told?! ) His ability to cast multiple spells in a single thread is fairly limited, due to the strain of summoning elementals throught his life. His hands and body have a few burn marks from misuse of fire magic.

Advanced Member Posts: 202 Group: Co-Admin Member #7 Joined: June 7, 2008	Well aside from a couple grammatical and spelling errors, I think it's a good application. I unbolded the application if you don't mind. It was messing with my OCD. The first person application shows his personality throughout the whole application, so there's no problem there. My opinion, and I mean this with no offense, is that he seems a bit generic, the usual sort of tough guys full of himself, thinks the ladies love him, sort of man. Maybe even a little flat an one sided. I wouldn't mind knowing a little more about your character, What drove him to being a little delinquent, a little more elaboration in the history wouldn't be bad. But, applications don't always give the character, and I haven't seen you roleplay. I expect that this character will show himself better in roleplaying. I think he's good to be accepted.
