Okay so I was reading though some topics on RPG-Directory and I saw this one and I thought it was something we as a whole should discuss. So in a role-play if some massive damaged is caused to lets say the market area on the middle level would be include this new damage into the forum description, post a thread just stating the current affairs of the area or just keep this damage in the thread it happened and pretend nothing else happened? For more public areas such as the market area, I would be happy to post a thread stating the current situation there rather than change the description of the forum itself. If it came to more major locations such as the palace, unless it was a major part of a main plot which would effect the whole site I would keep the details of their role-play to that single thread, seeing as we don’t just want the palace to blow to pieces because someone decided it would be a laugh lol So what do you lot think? |

I think any damage caused should become permanent, and be added to the description. |

adding to the description of the place sounds good. Would be good if there was ALSO a special section in the announcements area for "area changes" in addition to description changes. This would help keeping things up to date cos not everything that's once destroyed will remain broken forever. People might rebuild stuff or do something else. |

Agreed with above, permanent changes. Area changes in 'announcements' may not be necessary, but sometimes it's better safe than sorry? Undecided on that part. |

Hmm should there be a rule for this kind of bussiness. Like if someones thinking of creating some major damage to a area, that person should PM a member of staff before hand to get promisison, just to stop people blowing the palace and stuff up and it would also keep us up date. |

Indeed. Players need Staff Approval. |
