(This role-play took place before Giggles was called to war and left the city, so it’s a few weeks in the past)

Giggles hulking mass was settled against the remains of a old rotten house. The smell of wet wood and the eerie glow of the green street lights were giving the whole area an unsettling feeling. In his normal manner, Giggles back was against a wall, his arse to the fall, his knee’s bent and his big toes stretching marks in the flirty ground. Resting against his massive grey shoulder rested the hilt his monstrous great sword, while the blade tip lightly dipped into the muck at his feet.

“What you looking at ugly”, Giggles muttered toward a mean looking fellow with a blackjack hanging at his waist who had been staring in his direction for some time now. The fellow was most likely drunk and looking for a challenge but he must have thought better of it when Giggles commented and made his way off down the street and threw some abuse at a passer by.

Giggles mutter as he padded his hands over his loincloth and rummaged around until he came across a fine looking wooden pipe and gathered up some fluffy brown moss and thumbed it into the end. With a smile he rested his big figure over the end and lit the pip with a small spark, which in truth he wasn’t aware to be magic, more of a child’s trick. He took a few puff and got it going.

A purple mist rolled from his nostrils and mouth, its smelled like chocolate in a way as he rolled out around him

She wasn't as naive as she looked. A little girl wandering around on the lower levels certainly looked like easy pickings. You would assume she had been the point of many rotten men's interest during this little outing, yet an incident had yet to occur. Why? Because she was obviously packed with a mini-arsenal. A pair of pistols hung at her hips and a large, nasty-looking mini-canon was strapped to her back.

The truth was that she was here on business. Where did you think she got her raw materials? Certainly there was no such thing as the Metal Fairy.

But at long last, the inevitable occurred and someone called her attention out. From a distance like that of the nearby Apprahead, you would be seeing a disgruntled fellow appearing quite angry as he said something that, judging by the girl's face, she didn't like. Her face turned beet red with anger. The man's blackjack was of no use. Wrench trumps everything. And, from the distance, you could see the man nearly in tears, tenderly prodding at what would become a nasty lump. The girl was finishing him off with some sharp words, then they went their separate ways.

"I swear, no respect for ladies..." she muttered on her way past the behemoth on the street, smoking a pipe. In actuality, she hadn't been talking to anyone, but it seemed as if it were directed at anyone, it would be him.

“Pardon….?”, Giggles grunted as the small lass wonder by cursing men’s disrespect for women. From what he was aware, he wasn’t doing any offensive but if he was, he wasn’t much liking someone pointed it out.

With a second grunt he slowly pushed off of the ground and wall to his back and rose to his full high and grasped the hilt of his sword, letting the point still rest in the much. With small eyes glared down on the girl for a moment, he let out a heavy short from his small sensitive nostrils and bared a toothy grin from behind his bone features.

“Huh little thing are yah sparky?”, he muttered at the red headed girl with in slight hint of cheer in his voice. Giggles always took a liking to being so much bigger than most others he encountered, the whole threatening appearance thing often bared to mind. He eyed her fire arms for a moment, then tilted further forward, out stretching his neck as he did so to get a better look at the small objects. He never did like technology and machinery, is seemed so cold to him.

“Pretty little thing to…what you up to then? Pretty well armed for a leisurely stroll and you don’t strike me as the type to go looking for trouble lovely”, Giggles asked in curiosity as he brought back his head and rested his heavy back up against the wall once and took a heavy drag from his pip.

Her eyes widened when she had almost passed him. When she slowly turned to see him as he rose, the otherwise fearless spark plug shriveled.

"Geh..." great, she thought. Just fantastic. Nothing ever goes the way you plan. Oh, a harmless little trip to the lower level! It'll be fine! Just keep thinking positive, Am! Right.

She eyed the sword at his side like it was a deadly snake, coiled back and ready to strike. Her movements were slow so as not to agitate the brute further, and finally attempted to push a forced grin out of her mouth. It ended up looking somewhat pathetic. As small as she was, she already looked like a mouse in comparison.

"Actually, these guns are supposed to keep the trouble away. I guess I'm a little bit out of my element. I don't live here, see. Speaking of which, I have two precious little brothers with no one to take care of them but me waiting for me at home, soooo-" she slowly began to turn in the direction to leave.

Would he eat it up? Maybe she could make herself out to look pathetic enough for the big mammoth to let her go. Just in case, she flipped the clasp to her sidearms open, attempting to do it without sound.

Wait. Stop. He called her pretty. If there was ever a true example of a young girl's mood swing abilities, this would be it. Ammie whirled back around with a big happy grin.

"AWWW! You're so sweet! You really think I'm pretty!?"

“Huh same here, just passing by. Brothers you say, use to have some of those back home”, as he spoke, his eyes rolled over her body, then moved to her forced grin, where she bared a some what pathetic looking tooth smile. Giggles thought she was a fine piece of meat, for a human that is.

“Sweet? Well now, can’t say I’ve been called that before. Prettys a word for it, entrancing is another. How old are you any who lovely, 19, 20?” He asked with a smile as he lent toward once more, letting his weight press against his blade, forcing it slightly further into the muck.

In the moment of silences the heavy screech of the rail way roared over head, throwing up dust and some stench of smoke up into the air. In annoyance, Giggles rolled his eyes up toward the passing mass of steel and magic, a conception he still felt very uncomfortable around.

"Daaawwwh!" she squeaked. What a nice fellow. "I'm actually seventeen, but you're a lot closer than what most people guess."

The contraption overhead drew her eyes up, then back to the Apprahead as he rolled his eyes. Ammie frowned.

"You don't approve of machinery? Why is that? Machinery is a very helpful tool. When controlled, it can also be very powerful. See?" Amyra withdrew a sidearm and held it up for him to see.

"One single shot in the right place kills just about anything. This is the safety. You can't accidentally pull the trigger and shoot while it's on. Want a try?"

What a ridiculous view on mechanics, she thought. Who would roll their eyes at something so magnificent and complex? Everyone should have some kind of respect for it. She was determined to at least try to change his mind. Who knows - he could be a future customer.

“Seventeen huh? Bit older than me then”, Giggles replied with a toothy smile. When she spoke about the machinery, a frown formed across his brow. She was rather interested about the topic and from further inspection and glancing at her in a different light, she seemed familiar with the stuff.

“Oh no, no thanks”, she said with a large spread out hand toward the fire arm. In comparisons the firearm looked miniature. With a huff he pulled his sword off the ground and turned it gently in his grip. “Don’t understand the stuff, nor magic, trust neither of them really, all trickery. I’ll take a cold blade any time and a bit of brute force, a combination I understand”, he replied with a smile as he lifted his great sword fully and pulled it over his shoulder, letting it still into it’s thick holder on his back.

“Want to take a walk? I’ll offer protection for a kiss on the cheek”, he added the final part with a light roll of laugher. With a shift of his toes in the dirt he turned and dropped forward, letting his large fists knock down onto the ground, much like a gorilla and began to trek off down the path at a slow pace still she caught up.

"A-are you sure?" she sadly re-holstered the weapon. Trickery? Not at all. It was science! It followed strict rules with definite 'yes' or 'no' answers. How could anybody use such a thing as a trick? Judging from his style though, she let it slide. It seemed more to her that with his closed mind and brutishness that instead he was intimidated. Of course! It was the only explanation.

"Want to take a walk?"

"Aah..." he started without her reply, so she just fell into step and jogged to catch up.

Ammie watched his movements with the wide eyes of a curious child, and before her brain could even filter the words, she blurted out, "Ooh! Can I ride you?!"

His big, broad body looked like it would be comfortable. It was an urge...

Looks can be so deceiving. At the beginning, all she could think was that he meant her harm, but really he must just be a big, misunderstood lug. God, he needs a good pair of pants...

“Huh, come on, hop a board lass”, Giggle said with a grunt as he slowed to a stop, and dropped back onto his bum with a thump. He gentle rolled his shoulders forward and lent forward to a point she would be able to get on. This had happened to him once before in the pass week when he met some little orphan girl by the name of Ciri from what he recalled. Lucky both of them were cute, other wise they might have gotten a few choose words, he’s not a pack animal after all.

With a shift of his shoulder, he pulled his sword and holder off of his back and grapsed it tightly in his meaty fist to avoid hitting her with it, seeing as it did bob about a fair amount when he was trotting about on all fours.

((Ahh couldn’t think of what to write lol))
