Some pictures of the Koeln park railways are at http://sharpos-world.co.uk/rws/thumbnails.php?album=54. The web site is http://www.kleinbahn-im-rheinpark-koeln.de/ They have a porsch loco but it wasn't in use during my visit and the locos not in use are locked away. A page on the web site details the overhaul of the loco. I've also got some from a walk round the stuttgart park line I'll try and put those up shortly. One of their locos is sometimes taken to the Sinsheim show and I'll try and post a photo of that too. Thir web site is http://www.killesberg-kleinbahn.de/ The Koeln (Cologne) line has links to other miniature railways. For some reason the Koln line doesn't operate during the steam and model show at the Koeln messe next door that sees around 20000 visitors..... There are some suberb gradients on this line. Which is only 400 yards from the Killesberg Messe metro ( just come out of the station down the steps into the park and the station is on the right. For those with limited German parts of the site to look for are Betreib (working) and Fahrplan (timetable) |
