Of course BVR #1 "Wroxham Broad" spent her younger years as "Tracy Joe" - an IC loco, until the BVR fitted her with a boiler in 1991 see: http://www.davesrailpics.bravehost.com/bvr/bvr.htm - second & fourth pictures. There is a lot to be said for a locomotive that you can "Switch on" and go. |
