I think (!) that's my photo of Gat's cab - no problems with you using it though Kelvin as you've now got the remains of her! With regards Pilgrim and her operation at Knebworth - I spoke to Stuart Madgin earlier today and he filled me in on the situation. Basically when they first got her at Knebworth they did try her on passenger trains, however due to the gradients there she has to be worked hard on a full train and has a tendency when doing so to throw sparks out of her chimney. Therefore, Pilgrim is not used on passenger trains for the general public and is really only used a few times a year away from the "great unwashed" as a bit of a "play thing". I'm sure if anyone visits and expresses an interest he will let you have a look at her though. |
