i found this piccie whilst surfing the severn lamb website. it looks to me like mountineer. or is it CHUFF or the other one?

It isn't a Severn Lamb build, it is a van Heiden. Severn Lamb just gave it a major overhaul in the 1980s, before it was rebuilt again down under as we know it now.

I think they overhauled Chough at some point too.

Don't know of one in New Zealand, there are just three: Mountaineer at Cleethorpes, Chough in Canada and Elk in Belgium. Are you confusing Tazmania with New Zealand??

If anyone has pictures of Elk, or details on the line it ran on at Genk, please do post...
