Just to let you all know Sutton belle will be out of traffic for a bit as she has some tubes leaking. And will be getting a full retube. We are hopeing this will be done in house at the railway.

T'is a shame, she missed most of her holiday as a result of this issue. Hope we can get the boiler sent off reasonably quickly and it not spend 6 months sat in griffin hall before anything is done.

At a guess the same position she was when she was taken out of service lol

No Belle until May 2009!
This is a shame, this winter 2008/2009 marks the 60th anniversary of the overhaul which saw her being re-named Sutton Belle, originally being known as Douglas Clayton.

On another note, next year also sees the 50th anniversary of Sutton Flyer's first visit to Romney.

What does it matter if belle is out of service consider it this way she is out now but wont that mean she stays in service longer without extention it isnt like she will be needed for services
