Always nice to see a restoration / overhaul reach it's goal. Well done to those concerned. I have a recollection of a locomotive at Steamtown Carnforth carrying the name "CUB" or "THE CUB". I don't remember much about it because it was largely covered by a sheet. Is this the same machine? Edited by Vulcan, 13 Apr 2009, 07:37 PM.

Martin, it is the same machine, however it would have been in it's original Minirail form, which was very different to how it looked after the CCLR rebuilt it in 1994. When it first arrived seaside it looked like this:![]() Colin |
