We had a visit from Gavin Motley today from Kirkby Green, he brought his type 37 loco for us to try on our line, it had enough power on the flat but not enough weight to pull our carraiges up the incline from the bottom station, so we are still looking for a diesel or a steam outline loco to run along side our Keef loco, this would be a second loco as a spare and to run on quite days, we dont mind a bit of a project.
What have you got???

Ray King at TractionAds has a USA petrol loco for sale - see http://www.tractionads.co.uk/html/tarsa_-_1025.html. He's open to reasonable offers for it.

Matthew Gicquel at the Devon Railway Centre did have a petrol loco for sale last year but I'm not sure if he still has it or if it has been sold.

We have a large 2-4-2 petrol loco which, whilst not necessarily for sale, we could be persuaded to sell for the right price!

I should be seeing a fellow 10 1/4" gauge railway owner in the next hour or so, so I'll see if he knows of anything or has any suggestions.

Cheers
Charles
