I saw this 10.25" IC loco on eBay and thought it might be of interest. It's not me that's selling it!!

Its at Devon Railway centre and has been for sale for a while. I believe the reserve is about 2K.

Originally built for use at Tal-y-cafn with Gwril and the mini-rail coach now at Sherwood, It is powered by a invalid car engine and gearbox I think.

The reserve price has now been met at £1250. Interestingly that is around half the price that I last knew was being looked for for the loco. It will be interesting to see who ends up buying it and for how much!

It was also previously at Wat Tyler in Essex.
Price was more than £2k about 18 months ago when I visited. Without its S/O bits it could be made into a nice little shunting loco for someone.

It has now sold for £1250. I think the new owner (whoever that may be) has got themselves a bargain once they've sorted out the awful steam outline body!!
