The buffers are slightly over scale but are the right shape for an 04. Can't wait to get a go :D

Very interesting. Its nearly a new engine reading that. I've already asked Steve but did you get any patterns?

Makes me want to do something scale even more.... (Yes i should wait until the 4w is finished!)

Many thanks to all for your kind comments. It has been a hard slog but Ray and I are well pleased with the finished item. Initial steam trials were very promising and we are looking forward to getting it fully sorted when it returns from Barrow Hill.
As Ray has already posted, we have cobbled up a bit of a web site to tell a little of the story so please check it out. Better still, go see it at barrow Hill or at CCLR at the May gala.

Cheers

Well what can i say other than WOW! That really does look the business. If it weren't for the fact that i'll be driving at Markeaton i would have gone along to see that at Barrow Hill. Oh well never mind i shall have to venture up to Cleethorpes one day. All thats left to say now is well done to Ray and Roger.

A very interesting website that gives a good insight into the trials and tribulations of the project. Good to read that the builders are pleased with their efforts. It certainly looks the part.
