Good luck cos its bloody steep in places! At least you'll get in and out of the yard area!

Are you taking the coaches too?

Darn it! With those dates I won't be able to make it this year, the previous 2 years have co-incided with the day I have returned from holidays from Wales, with Eaton hall being conviniently placed just off the route home. I would of liked to have seen the Cagney do battle with the hill

Good luck Simon, after watching the Atlantics last year you will definately need it...especially if it rains! :P

Do you know yet what rolling stock she will be running with?

Now if you are there, with a locomotive - I will certainly go along as well.

I am sure you will know why!!

We have a strategy for going uphill and also one for going downhill. You can work out which RMR vehicle(s) that means taking.

But we will still need to be near the top of our game if we are to keep moving all afternoon. All good fun.

The Cagney departs for Eaton Hall tomorrow. Looking forward to a rattling good time on Saturday, dignity and impudence alongside Sir Arthur's machines.

Have a great time, we'd have been passing on the way to Tywyn but for a last minute change of date to go down on Sunday instead. Maybe next year?

Yes, an excellent open day! The weather was even good during the time I was there. Especially enjoyed the ride behind Cagney (Simon will know why!)

It was nice to be able to have as many rides as you liked and take some good pics, without all the "normals" around!

I even visited the Garden Centre afterwards to see the old locomotive shed!

Thanks to all those whose hard work made it possible.

Glad the day went well and there was no need for the battery booster!

Well it was helpful....a bit....there's no way cagney would have gone up it with a heywood coach they're way too heavy.
