At 12.30 today Cleethorpes was hit by a Typhoon!
Contrary to popular belief it is not sat on the ballast, and went through platform 3, and over the crossover and all the loop pointwork. Thursday should see it cleared for Kingsway and North Sea lane. Subject to all being well she will be in operation over Friday to Easter Monday, then hopefully weekends until she returns to Romney. CCLR is grateful to the RHDR for her use.

More to Follow.

I can't make it this weekend, will be in York helping to run the York Model Railway Show. If you get fed up running up and down at Cleethorpes pop over to York to see some of the best model railways in the country.

Typhoon has passed its FTR trial at Cleethorpes and will operate the full system, over the Easter weekend.

As Chris has said she managed to make it along the line. There was some bits that made her squeal a little but all good women do that. I now run and hide just in case any of the fairer read this.

Looks absolutly fantastic. Well done to the directors of the railway for having the courage to get it there without knowing it would be able to run. The gamble paid off!
