Right Guys, having plunged into the dreaded card index, the history of the locos in the other 2 prints is - 2nd print 1001 10 1/4" 4-4-2 built G&S Light Eng 1937 New to Wychboldas 1001 /38 Dudley Zoo /45 H Judd /46 Southsea, where named SIR A MONTGOMERY /51 H Judd /54 North Tawton MR, Devon /55 Littlestone on Sea /? Chippenham, Wilts c/60 S Monk, Notts /63 C Gilbert, Warks /70 L Creed, Worcs /79 J Williams, Chepstow /80 Drayton Manor Park c/82 Weymouth Bay MR 3/90 Severn Lamb 3/93 K Horn, Hants 7/00 Eastleigh 3rd print is - 10 1/4" 4-4-2 begun G&SLE, completed Twinings Models 1939 New to Dudley Zoo as 3 /44 E Dove and used on temp lines by/50 Cleethorpes as 1944 by/? Lowestoft by/56 Hunstanton by 2/57 auctioned /58 Hastings, where Reb JB HUghes as 2943 HAMPTON COURT, so pic is after 1959 /74 M Bamford /81 Stapleford MR, where Reb N Simkins /90 NB SIR A MONTGOMERY's sister 1002/38 is the one currently somewhere in Cornwall Cheers , Dave |

Sorry about the delay folks; I have finally collated the answers about the three engines into individiual pages on the SLS Website that are now live. Hopefully when you experts out there get your hands on these new pages you won't find too many errors from the collation process. Some gaps still to fill with dates and movements but fairly good pedigree pages for all three now. I have also found the connection between the three, Dudley Zoo, and therefore why the pictures were originally collected by Stanford Jacobs.  Page 1 - 5751 Prince Charles (Now rebuilt and was aka Sir Winston Churchill now aka Prince William.)  Page 2 - 2943 Hampton Court at Hastings Miniature Railway  Page 3 - Number 1001 "Sir A Montgomery" at Littlestone.(now rebuilt as 1908 Ernest Henry Upton) Edited by john new, 23 Jun 2009, 11:59 PM.
